We are writing to let you know that the ASICS London 10K, formerly the British 10K, will be returning to the heart of London on Sunday 21 July.

Using the roads of Westminster for the race will cause some changes to usual tra ic routes for a limited period on Sunday 21 July. In planning this event, every e ort is made to minimise the disruption caused due to the closure of the roads. The routes have been carefully considered and we are working closely with Westminster City Council, Transport for London and all emergency services.

Roads to be closed or partially closed on Sunday 21 July:

Broad Sanctuary Parliament Street Victoria Embankment Carlton House Terrace Piccadilly* Victoria Street Charing Cross Road Regent Street Waterloo Place*** Cockspur Street Regent Street St James Westminster Bridge Road Duncannon Street Savoy Street Whitehall Haymarket Shaftesbury Avenue Whitehall Court Horse Guards Avenue** St James’s Street Whitehall Place Lower Regent Street St Margaret Street Northumberland Avenue Strand * Reopens by 12:30 Pall Mall Temple Place ** Reopens by 15:30 Parliament Square Trafalgar Square *** Closed Saturday 20 July 08:00 until Sunday 21 July 18:00 Parking suspensions will be in place on the roads above marked with from midnight, as well as on William IV Street, St James’s Square, Arundel Street and Essex Street. Further information regarding all parking suspensions will be displayed on clear signage in the a ected roads in the week prior to the event.

The race will start at 09.30, with Piccadilly closing at 05.30, Whitehall and Horse Guards Avenue closing at 06.00 and all other roads closing at 07.00. We will ensure that roads are reopened as soon as possible once runners have completed each section of the route, and when it is safe and feasible to do so. All roads will fully reopen by 14.30, unless stated above. Please note, roads neighbouring the route may also be a ected by the above closures.

Please do allow extra time for your journey and, where possible, avoid driving in the area during the closure period. If you do need to drive on 21 July, please consider parking on an alternative street on the evening of 20 July. We are very grateful for the support of the local community and hope this advance notice helps with your planning around the road closures.
