RECONSTRUCTION PLANS (ABRUZZO, 2009) L’Aquila Castel del Monte Villa Santa Lucia degli Abruzzi Santo Stefano di Sessanio Castelvecchio Calvisio On the basis of Decree of the Delegate Commissioner for the Reconstruction (DCD n. 3/2010), it has been established to produce, for some minor historic centres and towns 32 struck by the earthquake, specific reconstruction plans RECONSTRUCTION PLANS (ABRUZZO, 2009) The Reconstruction Plans are considered as management tools, to plan and design the repair and the reconstruction interventions. The Reconstruction Plans: 1. guarantee the socio-economic upswing of the territory, 2. promote the requalification of the residential context according to its particular features and environmental quality, 3. facilitate the population return to their homes. Subsequently to the survey and the analysis of the situation of towns and small historical centres before and after seismic events, the Plans suggest provisional and definitive interventions for reconstructions and for seismic vulnerability reduction. They also define the involved subjects, budget plans, priorities and work-plans. The Reconstruction Plan is implemented for urban areas on the basis of uniform projects. They aim to identify the intervention and/or reconstruction interventions and the measures required to achieve the goals of rehabilitation and socio – economic development required by the Plan. 33 THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION Speaker: Eng.
