University of California, Davis Visualized male hormone receptors present in glial cells using immunocytochemistry methods, determined location of the brain where colocalization occurred. Findings suggested glial cells may participate in steroid hormone action in the hypothalamus.

Mechanisms of Transmitter-Mediated Modulation of Calcium Channels Summer Undergraduate Research Program. Mount Sinai Graduate School of Biological Sciences Using biochemical techniques, investigated interaction between intracellular synaptic proteins and calcium channels in neuronal signaling.
