VRBO Group - Premium and Classic Travel Insurance INTRODUCTION TO YOUR POLICY This policy document provides You with the terms, conditions and exclusions of the insurance cover, together with information that will help You in the event of an emergency. The policy contains different levels of cover, some of which do not apply unless You have paid the appropriate additional premium. Conditions and exclusions will apply to individual Sections of Your policy while general exclusions, conditions and notes will apply to the whole of Your policy. Please read this document and Your Certificate very carefully to ensure You understand the extent of the cover and assistance services, exactly what is and is not covered, the conditions of cover, and that this meets Your requirements. If You are unsure whether something is covered or excluded, please contact the company who sold You this Policy. Cooling Off Period: Unless Your Trip will be completed within 1 month of buying this insurance, You have the right to cancel any policy of insurance within 14 days of the date of issue or receipt of the terms and conditions, whichever is later. We will refund to You any premium You have paid and will recover from You any payments We have made. Our sales agents may also be remunerated on the sale of individual products. Fees may be applied by insurers for such things as mid-term adjustments and cancellations. Please check the individual policy information for full details. We hold any insurance money (premiums, refunds or claims money) as the agent of the insurer under a risk transfer agreement. This insurance does not cover everything. You should read this policy carefully. One reason for reading the policy carefully is that it contains important exclusions. 1 This travel insurance policy will suit the Demands and Needs of an individual, or group (where applicable) who have no undisclosed pre-existing medical conditions, are travelling to countries included within the policy terms and who wish to insure themselves against the financial impact of specified unforeseen circumstances/events relating to or occurring during their trip. For further details please visit: https://www.europ-assistance.com/en/who-we-are/international-regulatory-information SPECIFIC PROVISIONS FOR U.S. NATIONALS In case you are a United States person and you were travelling to Cuba, you will have to provide evidence that you travelled to Cuba in compliance with United States laws for us to be able to provide a service or a payment. CAUTION You will be covered under this Policy only if you have respected the official recommendations regarding travel issued by a governmental authority of your country of residence at the Departure Date. Recommendations include the “advice against travel or all but essential travel”. YOUR POLICY Claims administrator will provide the services and benefits described in this policy: ▪ during the Period of Insurance ▪ within the Geographical Limits ▪ subject to the Limits of Cover, and all other terms, conditions and exclusions contained in this policy ▪ to persons who habitually reside in the UK Area (i.e. have their main home in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man) and lived there for at least six of the last 12 months before You bought Your policy and have not spent more than 6 months abroad in the year prior to purchasing the policy). All Trips must also begin and end in Your Home Country ▪ following payment of the appropriate premium for the level of cover selected Benefits under this policy are underwritten and administered by Europ Assistance S.A. trading as Europ Assistance S.A. Irish Branch. This policy, its interpretation, or any issue relating to its construction, validity or operation and performance shall be subject to the laws of England. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the policy, or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which the Insured person resides at the policy start date.
