Students must take an admissions test consisting of the PSAT plus an essay in October. www.jcboe.org/mcnhs Infinity Institute Like McNair Academic, Infinity Institute is an academically rigorous school, which is part of Jersey City Public Schools. Students interested in both McNair and Infinity will have to fill out separate applications, however they can to take the PSAT on either school’s test date, as scores are shared between the schools. www.jcboe.org Innovation High School This is a magnet high school, which is part of Jersey City Public Schools. The admission process involves an application, but no test is required. The school is housed within Snyder HS, but is in a separate wing of the building and has its own entrance on Kennedy Blvd. S.T.E.A.M. focus (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). The school is affiliated with NJCU and allows students to earn college credits while still in high school.
