PRESSEMITTEILUNG 10.09.2019 3Teeth Im Februar Auf Tour In
FKP Scorpio Konzertproduktionen GmbH Große Elbstr. 277 a ∙ 22767 Hamburg Tel.
Billetter i salg onsdag 11. september kl. 10.00. Rolling Stone Magazine beskrev albumet fargerikt som «a mix of state-of-the-art sensory overload with a take-no-prisoners level of aggression.» Bill. kr. 225,- + bill.avg. 18 år leg. Dørene åpnes kl. 19.00. Eric Tessmer
ERIC TESSMER “Life is never going to go exactly the way you think it will,” says Eric Tessmer, “but I’ve come to appreciate that fact. Good things take time.” Tessmer’s stellar new release, ‘EP II,’ is proof of that. Three years in the making, the collection was recorded in Los Angeles with acclaimed producer Sean Beavan (Nine Inch Nails, Guns N’ Roses), and it finds the incendiary Austin guitarist matching his technical flash with new heights of lyrical craftsmanship and studio sophistication. The performances here represent Tessmer’s most raw, powerful work to date, tackling sobriety, commitment, and redemption with both deep insight and fearless vulnerability. It’s a remarkable step in an already remarkable career, one that showcases a virtuosic instrumentalist boldly stretching his limits and embracing his artful evolution as a singer and songwriter. “I wanted to go deeper than I ever have before with this EP,” says Tessmer. “I still love ripping things up on the guitar, but this time around, I wanted to save that more for the live show and really focus on concision in the studio.” A Wisconsin native, Tessmer developed his love affair with music through a kind of familial osmosis. Both his grandmother and father played guitar, and Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Cream were all staples around the house growing up. Inspired in part by watching reruns of Austin City Limits on his local PBS station, Tessmer moved to Texas straight out of high school, and he quickly garnered a formidable reputation there for his fierce fretwork and explosive live performances. -

(100 words) College roommates Dylan and Rob are making a movie called “Crueler than Truth” with a group of their friends in Colorado and Chicago. During the shoot, Dylan stumbles upon Rob’s diary and secretly begins reading it. His unsettling discoveries about who Rob really is, combined with his own hidden attraction towards him, gradually mix with the “film within the film” to create a fragmented reality. Filmed in 16mm in 1995-1996 and recently completed after a successful Kickstarter campaign, Pause of the Clock is a living time capsule that plays with the boundaries between the real and the imagined. ABOUT THE FILM On November 1, 1994 Rob Christopher finished writing the first draft of a screenplay called “Pause of the Clock." A 19-year-old film student at Columbia College in Chicago, he showed the screenplay to some faculty advisors and friends, then started fundraising and assembling a cast and crew. In January 1995, using 16mm film equipment from various colleges and rental houses, production started on the film in Golden, Colorado. Partially using short ends from other projects for filmstock, and scraping together whatever funds could be found, including an Albert P. -
