1. SBI merger with its Associate Bank & Bhartiya Mahila Bank (BMB)
On April 1, 2017, the five-associate bank of SBI and Bhartiya Mahila Bank became the part of the SBI Bank. With this merger, the total customer base of the bank reaches 37 crores with a branch network of around 24,000 and nearly 59,000 ATMs across the country.
