Stadium Activities for Steelers vs. Bengals

PITTSBURGH – The Steelers are encouraging fans to arrive early to enjoy in-stadium pregame activities for the team’s regular season finale versus the on Sunday, December 30. Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. and all gates will open at 2:30 p.m. Parking lots will open at 11 a.m. and the Will Call ticket window (Gate B) will open at 1 p.m.

THANK YOU FANS The final game of the season represents the Steelers’ “Thank You Fans” game. In this game, the team and management will thank fans for their dedication and support. On gameday, every fan in attendance will win a prize, which includes a pair of tickets to Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta.

Each fan will receive a 1st-In-Goal scratch-off ticket upon entry with a prize listed. During the day, fans will also be rewarded with in-game contests and prizes, along with multiple fan appreciation events outside and inside the stadium. Fans should download the Official Steelers Mobile App for additional prize opportunities throughout the game.

ON-FIELD ACTIVITIES FIRST RESPONDERS FOOTBALL SKILLS COMPETITION At halftime, local area First Responders will compete in an on-field football skills competition.

WPIAL AND CITY LEAGUE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS All WPIAL High School Football and City League Championship teams will be honored during the game for their successful seasons. All teams will take a pregame picture on the field before taking their seats to enjoy the game. The seven (7) 2018 Championship teams in attendance will include: Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (1A), Steel Valley (2A), Aliquippa (3A), South Fayette (4A), Penn Hills (5A), Class Pine Richland (6A), and Allderdice (City League).

MUTTS GONE NUTS Trainer Samantha Valle of Mutts Gone Nuts will be joined by her world-class canine athletes to perform on field prior to kickoff at approximately 4:05 p.m.

TERRIBLE TOWEL TWIRL Before each Steelers game, a select group will perform the terrible towel twirl on the field near the Steelers’ player tunnel. This week’s Terrible Towel Twirl will be led by International Rap Star and Pittsburgh’s own Wiz Khalifa.

NATIONAL ANTHEM The National Anthem will be performed by founding member of pop super-group N’SYNC and Pittsburgh-native Chris Kirkpatrick. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of N’SYNC’s debut album.

ATI SALUTE TO HEROES The ATI Salute to Heroes features a local military hometown hero at each game during the first break of the 3rd quarter. This week, the team will honor four board members from the Veterans Place of Washington Blvd combatting homelessness and serving Veterans since 1996.

PRE-GAME ACTIVITIES STAGE AE TAILGATE ZONE Fans are encouraged to stop by Stage AE, the Official Tailgate Zone of the Steelers. Admission is free and the doors open at 12:30 p.m. Tres Lads will be performing from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Fans will be able to participate in Steelers prize giveaways, including autographed items and a “jersey upgrade” where one fan can exchange their used jersey for a brand-new Steelers jersey. Food and drink specials will be available during the tailgate, including a $5 all-you-can-eat Nacho special and $5 24 oz. beers.

The Steeline Drumline will lead a Steelers Nation Unite Parade from Stage AE to the stadium approximately 60 minutes before kickoff.

ART ROONEY AVENUE Before each game, fans are invited to participate in free activities along Ave. outside of the stadium three hours prior to kickoff. Fans can purchase food and drinks while enjoying experiences inside the Gameday Live Tents, a meet-and-greet with Steely McBeam, take photos with giant Steelers gloves, enter to win prizes from various Steelers partners, watch earlier NFL games and more.

IN-STADIUM ACTIVITIES

50/50 RAFFLE For all home games in 2018, the Steelers have a 50/50 raffle with proceeds benefiting local charities. One fan will take home half of the prize, and for this game, the other half will benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and the United Way. FEDEX GREAT HALL The FedEx Great Hall along the East side of the stadium will offer fans an in-stadium experience unlike any other. With a pre-game show featuring live music from DJ Steve Maffei Jr. starting when gates open at 2:30 p.m., fans will be able to listen to great music while visiting the Steelers Walk of Fame and Hall of Honor and enjoying food and drinks from nearby concessions stands.

FORD FAN ZONE The Ford Fan Zone is located under the scoreboard in the south end zone and features activities for fans at each home Steelers game, including the POW-MIA Memorial Seat and corresponding plaque. This week, Steelers alumnus and two-time Super Bowl Champion Will Allen will meet fans for photo opportunities from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The winner of the 2018 Ford “Official Truck of the Pittsburgh Steelers” contest will be presented with a new Ford F-150 in the Ford Fan Zone on Sunday.
