Preliminary Itinerary (Updated: May 20, 2019)

This itinerary is subject to adjustments. Final itinerary with additional information will be available for booked participants in August 2019. Day 1 – Tuesday, Sept. 3

Participants arrive in by plane or car to Dayton or Yellow Springs, respectively. Shuttles will be available to take participants from the airport to Yellow Springs Shuttles to Yellow Springs.

• Late Afternoon: “Meet and Greet” happy hour at Yellow Springs Brewery. • Dinner: Winds Cafe • Overnight Lodging: Mills Park Hotel Day 2 – Wednesday, Sept. 4

Depart from Yellow Spring by bicycle. Participants will have the option to choose from various trip lengths. Additionally, a shuttle to Columbus will be available at the 58-mile mark.

• Featured Trails: o Little Miami Scenic Trail o o Prairie Grass Trail o Roberts-Pass Trail o Camp Chase Rail-Trail o Scioto Greenway Trail • Dinner: Wolfs Ridge Brewing • Overnight Lodging: Hotel LeVeque

Day 3 – Thursday, Sept. 5

Participants will be shuttled from Columbus to Centerburg (approx. 45-minute drive) After arriving in Centerburg, the group will bike 40 miles to Glenmont (all on trail).

• Featured Trails: o Heart of Ohio Trail o o Holmes County Trail (Day 3 cont.)

At the end of the day’s ride, participants will be shuttled from Glenmont to Millersburg (approx. 25-minute drive).

• Dinner: Inn at Honey Run • Overnight Lodging: Inn at Honey Run

Day 4 – Friday, Sept. 6

Participants will be shuttled from Millersburg to Massillon (Approx. 50-minute drive). After arriving in Massillon, the group will bike 30 miles to Akron (all on trail).

• Dinner: Lock 15 • Overnight Lodging: Courtyard Akron Downtown Day 5 – Saturday, Sept. 7

Participants will bike 34 miles from Akron to Cleveland (all on trail).

• Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, which travel almost entirely through Cuyahoga Valley National Park

After finishing the ride, participants will be able to take the shuttle to Yellow Springs, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport or airport hotels. 162 trail miles total
