Mike Niven Interior Design A Celebration of Nature. LUXURIOUS FOREST-VIEW LIVING Presenting luxurious urban style tempered by the sublime natural beauty of the surrounding area, MontVert by Primont is a new community of one and two-bedroom suites in Brampton’s Mount Pleasant Village. The two mid-rise condominium towers of 12 storeys each look out on a forest reserve, offering a tangible connection to nature. MontVert showcases the award-winning collaboration between CORE Architects and Mike Niven Interior Design. Envisioned for anyone aspiring to a modern urban lifestyle, MontVert brings the ultimate in convenience to Sandalwood Parkway and Veterans Drive. Easily accessible area amenities — parkland and sports facilities, schools, libraries, transit, dining and shopping — imbue MontVert with an irresistible allure. 2 LUXURIOUS FOREST-VIEW LIVING 9 THE PRIMONT LEGACY 11 MASTERFULLY DESIGNED FOR THE VIEWS 12 WELCOME TO MOUNT PLEASANT VILLAGE 15 EXPERIENCE OPTIMIZED LIVING 18 100 ACRES OF FUN AND ACTIVITIES 21 YOUR COMMUNITY AT A GLANCE 23 URBAN TRANSIT VILLAGE 25 CORE ARCHITECTS 27 MIKE NIVEN INTERIOR DESIGN 29 THE AMENITIES 42 AMENITY PLAN 45 THE SUITES 52 FEATURES & FINISHES 54 A PROMISE FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS MONTVERT PRIMONT THE PRIMONT LEGACY For over 50 years, Primont has followed the simple philosophy of building every home as if it were their own and treating every customer as if they were a member of the family. For this reason, every Primont home benefits from years of experience. Prime locations, elegant design, superb craftsmanship and unrivaled customer service have made Primont a leading and trusted name in the industry. The proof of their passion and dynamic success can be found in the 3,000 homes Primont has built throughout the GTA. Firmly postmodern in their demeanor, they both rise from bases of striking, narrow vertical lines that rise three storeys and then give way to walls of high-tech glass with long balconies that look out on the green surroundings. Matching the sophisticated craftsmanship of the exteriors, the interior design has been inspired by the wide open spaces and sunlit parks of the lush nature havens close to MontVert. Generous utilization of natural materials such as stone, granite and wood bring warmth and glamour to this unique residence. From floods to flowers, Dick Smith’s pond to the Brampton Mall, from fishing to tobogganing – the stories are here. Brampton Library would like to thank all of the authors who submitted their stories for inclusion in this book, as well as all of the seniors who told their stories on camera in the Through Our Eyes video interviews, which are available through Brampton Library as well as being viewable online (for more information see www.bramptonlibrary.ca).
