The rescheduled 2022 UK dates include Bexhill, De La War Pavilion (Sunday May 1), The London Palladium (Monday May 2), Manchester, Bridgewater Hall (Tuesday May 3), Glasgow, O2 Academy (Wednesday May 4), Birmingham, Symphony Hall (Friday May 6), Gateshead, Sage Hall 1 (Saturday May 7). Satriani’s latest studio album, “Shapeshifting”, originally released April 2020 via Sony Music/Legacy Recordings, features the radio tracks “Nineteen Eighty” and “Big Distortion”. The concert will feature tracks from the new album “Shapeshifting”, plus many of his classic fan favorites including “Surfing With The Alien”, “Always With Me, Always With You”, and “Flying In A Blue Dream”. The 2022 touring band features celebrated drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Fogerty) bassist Bryan Beller (Aristocrats) and keyboardist Rai Thistlethwayte (Thirsty Merc) and Joe Satriani on guitar. For two decades, the guitar virtuoso has traveled the world, playing to sold-out crowds as both a headliner and as founder of the all-star “G3” guitar extravaganza. Satriani’s studio and live recordings have sold more than 10 million copies worldwide to date and of his many solo albums, two have gone platinum and four others went gold, with 15 Grammy nominations between them. His side project, Chickenfoot, featuring former Van Halen front man Sammy Hagar, former bassist Michael Anthony, and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ drummer Chad Smith saw their debut album certified gold and their second studio album debuted at #9. Since its debut in 1996, Satriani’s G3 tour has featured the world’s greatest guitarists (everyone from Steve Vai and Eric Johnson to Steve Lukather and Robert Fripp and John Petrucci and Uli Jon Roth) and has become a consistent concert hall sell-out attraction in the U.S., South America, Europe, Australia, and Japan. “I think part of its charm and its mojo is in the chemistry of having three top guitarists share what they do on stage,” says Satriani. “It’s fun, it’s unpredictable, it’s wild – it’s everything you could want in a show.” Since the 2017 release of his “What Happens Next” album, Satriani, toured his G3 Guitar Extravaganza worldwide to critical acclaim, and then embarked on the Experience Hendrix US tour. Auf einigen Alben aus dieser Ära befinden sich auch zahlreiche Kompositionen des weltweit einflussreichen Rock-und Fusion-Musikers. Mit „Scorpions Revisited“ hat er kürzlich ein Solo-Album mit Neuinterpretationen einiger Scorpions- Songs veröffentlicht. Im Oktober wird Roth damit in Hannover im MusikZentrum auftreten. Bei den Scorpions war der virtuose und innovative Musiker nicht nur als Gitarrist aktiv, zahlreiche Songs aus den Alben, die, die Band zwischen 1973 und 1978 herausbrachte, stammen aus seiner Feder oder wurden von ihm mitkomponiert.   • Concert for Streetdogs – the Very First!
    Concert for Streetdogs – the very first! In Lisbon (Portugal) there is going to take place the very first charity concert for streetdogs (February 9th, 2019). The entire revenues are donated to neglected, hurt and maltreated dogs. Famous musicians from Germany as well as Portugal support this project looking forward to an unforgettable “Rock 'n Flamenco” eve that is hardly topped with respect to its exclusiveness and intimacy. The concert is led by the exceptional musician on the guitar named Uli Jon Roth (Scorpions / Electric Sun et al). No doubt that Roth belongs to the most popular guitar players in the world being able to shape with his style the first lp's of the Scorpions and besides, influencing a variety of other grand musicians worldwide. He was on stage with many of the well-known rock- dinosaurs (e.g. Deep Purple, Smashing Pumpkins or Robby Krieger (The Doors)) and in 2018 he again has been on tour with 'G3-Tour' – for the third time – a changing format sending the three very best guitar players around the globe. “Either you have a very good heart or you are totally crazy. Doesn't matter, Here I am!” Uli Jon Roth spontaneously commented on our request to support and actively engage in our project. The guitar player himself is very much into animals and for the early times with Scorpions a confessing vegetarian. Visitors of the concert look forward to a musical journey through the different stages of Roth's creative phases. Still, beyond songs from his time with Scorpions and Electric Sun he plays unique Flamenco elements as well.
