Carr, died this week. The 66 year old Silver Point native became Register of Deeds here as a young man in the late 1800’s and served in that job for 14 years. He was Putnam’s state representative from 1919•21. Then he worked for the State Board of equalization for three years and as a clerk for various other state departments until 1928.
