RODGERS ·······························································NEWARK POST STAFF WRITER Does a free basket with' a turkey and all the trimmings sound like a good present for the holidays? Well, thanks to Val Nardo' s Needy fami ly fund, about 700 fami lies will receive just that. Val Nardo started the Needy Family Fund 25 years ago to help less fortunate families during the holiday season. He donated 10 bas kets hi first year and this year with the help of organizations such as the Newark Area Welfare Center he was able to oversee the pro duction of 700 baskets.
