Manchester City Academy and Facilities Is Pretty Exclusive and We Are Honoured to Even Step Into the Place Manchester City FC Pennine United UK Soccer Tour, 3-13 August 2017 11 Days – 10 Nights (1 night in-flight) Manchester City FC About Manchester City FC Manchester City’s story began in 1880 when the Connell family of St Mark’s Church in Gorton harnessed the power of football in a bid to unite their community. The Club has continued to develop and grow to become one of the most exciting and innovative clubs in the world today. With four League Championship successes, most recently the Premier League titles in 2012 and 2014, as well as five FA Cup wins in its history, Manchester City continue to work towards future excellence both on and off the field. In December 2014, the Club opened the new City Football Academy - which lies at the heart of the Etihad Campus and close to the original St Mark’s church - with the intent of securing Manchester City’s future as one of the world’s leading football clubs by investing in the development of young talent. Inspiresport have teamed up with City Football Schools to allow both international and domestic groups to experience what it’s like to train and play like a Manchester City player at this truly inspiring facility. Sessions will be delivered by City coaches following the Club’s coaching philosophy and methodology, to give players a real insight into how the Club develop high quality players and exciting teams. Manchester City FC City Football Academy The City Football Academy (CFA), Manchester City Football Club’s youth development and first team training centre in the heart of East Manchester, was formally opened by former City manager and the Club’s most decorated captain, Tony Book, in December 2014. This Grade 1 Academy and elite training facility, located in an 80 acre regenerated brownfield site, adjacent to the Etihad Stadium and forming part of the wider Etihad Campus, is a truly inspirational environment for young players to train and play. The CFA is home to all of Manchester City’s football teams of both genders and all age groups. Two thirds of the 16.5 pitches on site are dedicated to youth development, supported by high quality, innovative coaching and education facilities, as well as medical and sports science services. The CFA also accommodates the majority of Manchester based staff in one connected operational base and is a global headquarters for those in the wider City Football family, which now includes sister clubs New York City FC, Melbourne City FC and Yokohama Marinos. It also boasts a 7,000 capacity Academy stadium, the home of Manchester City Women and Manchester City’s EDS side. “We wanted to build something that was quite unique in the world of football but also something that would attract the best players at all age groups, both male and female.” Brian Marwood, Managing Director of City Football Services “You create a facility like this it just gives you an opportunity to focus on the main thing you want to achieve in your career: winning trophies.” Vincent Kompany, MCFC First Team Captain Manchester City FC Your Package Includes: Pre-departure information service Return airport transfers in England (based on arrival and departure from/into Heathrow airport) Return match, training and excursion transfers as required (see below itinerary) 5 nights at the Village Hotel, Ashton (Manchester) on a bed & breakfast meal basis (twins) 1 night at the TBC Hotel (Birmingham) on bed & breakfast meal basis (twin) 3 nights at the Millennium Chelsea Hotel (London) on a bed & breakfast basis (triple & twins) 2 x lunches at Manchester City’s CFA facility 4 x 90-minute training sessions on all aspects of play from City Football Schools coaching staff Use of the state-of-the-art City Football Academy (CFA) facility for all scheduled training sessions Use of ‘City Football Schools’ kit for all training sessions at CFA Behind the scenes tour of the Etihad Stadium, including visit to official club shop Manchester City ‘goody bag’ for all players 2 pre-arranged soccer matches per team against local opposition Visit the National Football Museum (Manchester city centre) Visit National Football Centre Visit Warwick Castle Behind the scenes tour of Wembley Stadium Supervisory FREE places for the Sports Trip Organisers Coach education opportunities for Sports Trip Organisers Services of an inspiresport representative throughout the tour Final printed itineraries ======================================================================= Price – Return Flight Cleveland – London Heathrow included $3295.00 per player based on minimum 30 paying players, 18 paying adults $3295.00 per adult based on a minimum 30 paying players, 18 paying adults Families will make payments directly to the travel company in England by transferring funds. • Richard Mille Congratulates Manchester City Football Club Champions of Barclays Premier League 2013/14
RICHARD MILLE CONGRATULATES MANCHESTER CITY FOOTBALL CLUB CHAMPIONS OF BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE 2013/14 Richard Mille congratulates Manchester City Football Club for their victory of the Barclays Premier League 2013/14. The Club secured UK’s most prestigious football title for the second time in three years; an achievement that reconfirms City as being one of the top teams in the world. Heading in to the last round of games City knew that securing a win against West Ham would guarantee the title. Manager Manuel Pellegrini encouraged his players to finish the season with the same style and attacking flair that had seen them scoring over 100 goals in 37 games. Eventually goals from Samir Nasri and Vincent Kompany proved vital as City got the win that allowed them to regain the Barclay’s Premier League Trophy. Richard Mille has been MCFC’s Official Timing Partner since 2012, another key year for the Club’s history as City won the 2011–12 Barclay’s Premier League bringing home their first league title for 44 years. The partnership benefits from a strong affinity of values both the Club and the Swiss watch brand share: Richard Mille’s drive for passion, belief in excellence, leadership, and generation of talent is reflected in the partnerships the brand established with the world’s leading sports elite, which include Tennis Champion Rafael Nadal, Olympic Medallist Yohan Blake and World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb. Manchester City and Richard Mille also succeed in working together on charity programmes to the benefit of local communities: Manchester City’s own charity ‘City in the Community’ has recently received a generous donation following the sale of a bespoke timepiece designed by Richard Mille.
