Looking ahead to the return leg, they have not prevailed in 11 European away trips (D2 L9) since a 3-2 success at FC Schalke 04 in March 2013. • Lazio made it through the UEFA Europa League group stage unbeaten (W4 D2) after losing to Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League play-offs. • Galatasaray last played in the round of 32 in 2009/10, losing to Club Atlético de Madrid. Their best performance in this competition since beating Arsenal FC on penalties in the 1999/2000 UEFA Cup final was getting to the round of 16 in 2008/09. • Lazio last reached the round of 32 in 2013/14, when they were eliminated by PFC Ludogorets Razgrad.
