Due to the scheduling of the top tier NASCAR Series being in three locations this weekend; Busch is unable to race at the Texas Motor Speedway, putting Ickler back behind the wheel of the No. 51 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Tundra. Ickler made his first start for the independent team owner, Billy Ballew, at Kansas Speedway posting a fifth place finish. Ickler has piloted the No. 15 Samsung Instinct Toyota Tundra for Ballew at Lowe’s Motor Speedway and Dover International Speedway. This will be Ickler’s first start on the 1.5-mile Fort Worth, Texas race track. Billy Ballew Motorsports has 18 previous starts posting two second place finishes in 2008 and one in 2006. “I’ve never been to Texas,” Brian Ickler said. “I’m looking forward to getting back in the 51 and working with Doug George and all of those guys over there. With Kyle (Busch) back in the truck they’ve just kept proving and making that truck better. I’ve never been to Texas but I’m very optimistic of running well there. I know he (Kyle Busch) runs incredibly well in the 51. I’m just happy to be in it. There’s not a whole lot of pressure into this. We do the best we can and hope we finish well in it.” Ickler, who pilots the No. 15 Samsung Instinct Tundra when Busch is in the No. 51 Tundra, will visit Samsung’s corporate offices while in the Dallas/Fort Worth area promoting the sponsorship of the Billy Ballew Motorsports team. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series WinStar World Casino 400 at Texas Motor Speedway is scheduled to begin Friday June 5, 2009 at 8:00pm CT and will be broadcast live on SPEED. -30- .
