WEINBERG MEMORIAL LIBRARY, UNIVERSITY OF SCRANTON, Scranton, PA Special Collections Librarian/Associate Professor, November 1996-Present Special Collections and University Archives at the University of Scranton preserves and provides access to documents, publications, photographs, books, and other materials of historic value. It also presents a series of exhibits throughout the year in the Library's Heritage Room. • Serve as the primary point of contact for Special Collections and University Archives • Develop, administer and provide reference services for rare book and manuscript collections as well as the University Archives • Process and preserve records in various formats, including archives, photographs, rare books, et al. • Select and prepare manuscript and archival materials for digitization and inclusion in digital repository • Initiate and maintain special collections donor relations • Identify and apply for grant funding to assist with management of collections.
