Programs are usually posted within one week of live presentation. The John F. Anderson Memorial Lectureship was established in 1955 by John F. Anderson, M.D., an 1895 graduate of the UVA School of Medicine and a leading figure in infectious disease, public health, and pharmaceutical research. His gift makes possible a lectureship in medical science and public health that brings to this health care community the latest developments in these fields. We gratefully acknowledge the John F. Anderson Memorial Lectureship Trust’s support for all Medical Center Hours in the 2012-2013 academic year except those otherwise designated. The UVA School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. UVA SoM designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with their participation in the activity. UVA SoM awards 0.1 CEU per contact hour to each non-physician participant who successfully completes this educational activity. The CEU (Continuing Education Unit) is a nationally recognized unit of measure for continuing education and training activities meeting specific educational planning requirements. UVA SoM maintains a permanent record of participants awarded CEUs. .
