Daily Vespers Reader’s Vespers
Priest: Blessed is our God… Same order as Daily Vespers, but all priest’s Rdr.: Usual Beginning, Psalm 103 exclamations are replaced with “Through the Priest & Choir: Great Litany prayers of our holy fathers, O Lord, Jesus Christ, Rdr. & Choir: Kathisma have mercy on us” and all litanies are replaced Priest & Choir: Little Litany with varying numbers of “Lord, have mercy” and Rdr. & Choir: Lord, I have cried the doxology (Glory to the Father…). Choir: Gladsome Light Priest & Choir: Prokeimenon Rdr.: Vouchsafe, O Lord Little Vespers Priest & Choir: Evening Litany Same order as Daily Vespers, but with no Great, Rdr. & Choir: Aposticha Little, or Evening Litanies, and shorter Rdr: St. Symeon’s Prayer & Trisagion Augmented Litany.
