I really feel like I have a huge amount to be grateful for: a wonderful husband, a house, friends, a family, a job, pets, my "birdy buddies" (we have a bird feeder in the back yard and it's cool watching them) and neat stuff to work on, like the Pride Rally and the newsletter. Everyone once in a while, I think it's good to stop and count your bless mgs. There is a misconception that I would like to clear up. I do not write or edit most of the newsletter. Mostly I handle the computer geek and accounting stuff. My husband Micheal does most of the layout stuff, art direc tion and ad design. Deb Spilko has been our principle writer and editor since we have been publishing in this form. She has freely given huge amounts of time and effort to this and other projects which have benefited our community, usually out of the limelight. She is also active in several other causes. Sometimes when people praise me for the news letter, I feel guilty because Deb and Micheal don't get to hear the accolades that they deserve for their efforts. So I would just like to publicly thank them as a member of our community for all that they do!
