GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM

INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS (IFP) Date : RFP No: 11-P&C/(4)/2014-Pt.III

1. Department of Tourism proposes to appoint a Consultant for preparation of DPR for “Development of Velankanni in Nagapattinam District” under “PRASAD” (National Mission of Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive) Scheme. The consultants should have proven record of having done similar assignments.

2. In this regard, the Commissioner of Tourism, Department of Tourism, Tamil Nadu Tourism Complex, Wallajah Road, Chennai – 2. invites proposals for the above mentioned assignment.

3. The assignment is open to all eligible consulting firms, Request For Proposals (RFP) may be downloaded and used free of cost from the websites viz. www.tenders.tn.gov.in & www.tamilnadutourism.org

4. The Pre qualification, technical and financial proposals under the „two cover system‟ must be delivered in the office of the Commissioner of Tourism, Department of Tourism, Tamil Nadu Tourism, Wallajah Road, Chennai – 2 on or before 15.00 hrs on 08-02-2016 and Pre qualification cover -1 alone will be opened on the same day at 16.00 hours, in the presence of the consultancy firms who wish to attend. If the office happens to be closed on the date of receipt of the proposals as specified, the proposals will be received and opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.

5. A pre proposal conference will be held on 28-01-2016 at 15.00 hrs at the office of Commissioner of Tourism, Chennai-2 to clarify queries if any as stated in the RFP.

7. Tender fee of Rs.5000/- (non-refundable) and Earnest money of Rs.1.00 lakh (Rupees one lakh) (refundable) in the form of Bank draft in favour of the Commissioner of Tourism, payable at Chennai must be enclosed in a separate envelope marked earnest money in the Technical Bid Envelope.
