Storm water drainage planning, domestic water planning and sewerage transfer and sewage treatment planning are most essential. The percolation pit is presented in fig 2.3. Storm water sumps will be provided to meet the expected increase in the runoff during rainy seasons due to the impervious nature of the Roof, roads and other paved areas. Storm water drainage system shall be provided to collect both the roof water and surface water generated within the project site. All roof water from terraces of all blocks shall be collected by means of rainwater down take pipes. All roof water down takes shall be taken up to the ground level and connected to the storm water sumps for all blocks excess storm water from terrace will be sent to rainwater harvesting structures.
