The Huskies, who have lnst some of their bt:st lettermen, remain strong in the running departments with captain Roger Pierce, 5.4 in the 50 yard dash, and frank Foley, 1 :11.9 in the 600 yard nlll, ~cuing the pa.:e. Cross-country captain Jan Castama, holder of the ~chool record in the 1000 (2: 13.1), alon.e; with Jay Jellison, who competes in several evems, represent other dependable lettermen in the running events. Irwin Cohen Fred Scribner, whn has cleared 61511 in the high jump, and Don Cybulski, a junior weight man who performed well last season, appear to be th(' steadiest performers in t1te Jleld events.
