PREFACE

he Annual Report 2019-20 of the Rama University is a document which lends confidence and satisfaction that significant strides were gained by Rama University. It covers all the momentous moments of the session T2019-2020. It is an effort to share an account of academic, research, beyond curriculum achievements. The whole gamut includes vibrant events, competitions and academic performance, placements, research activities, accolades earned in the academic year 2019-2020. The University is currently working in the 7th year of its operations and has shown significant growth in different aspects of academics, research as well as for socio welfare in the previous 6th year. The University has been always overwhelmed and sincerely acknowledges the guidance and support given by the Honourable Chancellor, Dr. Suraj Babu Singh Kushwah, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Janardhana Amarnath B.J. and Director, Dr. Prateek Singh Sir, for their significant directives to implement various initiatives. Research finds an appropriate place at the University and it continues to encourage that our students should be provided with an exposure who will work with a competitive research output. Our University focuses on the execution of extra-curricular activities that aims about the overall development of the students. The sole purpose that lies behind all the activities is to ensure that our vision and mission should be reflected in all these activities. Rama University mainly focuses on providing a research based rich environment where students feel free to explore which helps them to enhance their knowledge. Our interaction with external experts from industry and academia is really very helpful and the curriculum is not only updated but also adjusted according to the relevancy of the industry. University’s uniqueness lies in its variety, blended with collaboration and an innovative approach that is used for students. Its academic excellence lies in implementing research activities as well as co-curricular activities that helps students to imbibe a sense of learning by doing the things in a more innovative way. The University provides our students hands-on experience by providing learning opportunities in the classroom and beyond. For the last few years, the graph on the innovation in the academic areas is increasing. Scholars find a rich and progressive environment here. The University’s authorities are playing a crucial role in initiating new programs. The University is providing a kind of knowledge which infuses enthusiasm in our students and they actively participate in all the extension activities through which our University helps to fulfil the societal needs. Besides this our University provides placement, community engagements, welfare and socio-cultural awareness exercises. RAMA AT A GLANCE

he eye captivating and lush greenery environment of Rama University bewitches every onlooker that spreads around 150 acres adjacent to Mandhana City. Our University offers academic programmes and courses Tunder Various Faculties, namely Engineering, Medical Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Computer Studies, Health Sciences, Media & Communication, Humanities and Management, Law and agricultural Sciences. The University has well sophisticated and dedicated faculty with international experience, progressive learning approach and modern teaching methodology to provide knowledge to its students. The University offers education with a global paradigm. To provide qualitative education of Academic Programs, the University has collaborated with prestigious universities that will provide a great exposure to the students in their academic interest area. The University has hostels for girls and boys with indoor and outdoor sports facilities and health care centres. The Institute has more than requisite infrastructural facilities for its academic programs and administrative functions. It has a central lecture hall, 28 multimedia classrooms with video recording, adequate facilities, furnished furniture and high quality aural equipment are available. Both graduates and undergraduates have their own sets of lecture halls. In addition each department has their own set of lecture and seminar halls. The Institute has acoustic facilities for research and other activities. The IT department has been created for all maintenance. Most of the important equipment has annual maintenance contracts. Adequately trained staff members are there to maintain equipment and services .The maintenance budget is adequate to take care of all common needs. Our faculties are empowered to undertake all these activities on a regular basis. Besides the academic Infrastructure the support facilities for sports, co-curricular and extra –curricular activities are also available. The University has also put in strenuous efforts for proper maintenance and utilization of infrastructure library, sports grounds, laboratories, classrooms, seminar halls, auditorium hostels and all service installations. The industry strives to involve the students as members of the international workforce with leadership qualities to serve the communities in different aspects of the society. The University provides funds and scholarship for the research scholars and meritorious students. Today 1346 students are pursuing their desired aspirations via undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral in different disciplines. Rama University has developed and maintained a library with all required academic resources including 24 x 7 internet facility with wide bandwidth, and electronic gateways for accessing and sharing electronic learning and teaching resources among researchers, teachers, students and the visitors. The library budget ensures that the latest editions of books and journals are continuously made available. There is a continuous effort of the university to increase the acquisition of library electronic resources. Besides, the libraries also provide: Online facilities (DELNET, J-GATE, DVL, NDL, E- Shodh-Sindhu, Shodhganga) in the Library are made available on the desktop in various departments through multi user access at the Central Computer Unit. Students having laptops can browse in the lounge areas of the library. Libraries also provide research based enriched environments to faculty as well as students. Besides this each faculty has their own library and stocked with over 2 lakhs books, periodicals, references, national and International journals, CD- ROMS and e- books are available to faculty and students and can be also accessed remotely. There is a great scope to further enrich resources through higher budgetary allocations for acquisition as well as creation of e- content by faculty. Indubitably, the sports complex is the central feature of any university and it is truly nice that to embolden our students into successful future aspirants our Institute focuses not only the academic efficiency but also on the overall development of the students. Our Institute has separate grounds for football, hockey, volleyball and cricket. It also houses courts for tennis , billiards etc. are available services of qualified coaches and courses in sports are provided and many students have astounded themselves and represented at University, Inter University and International level competitions. A plethora of activities have been conducted every year to inculcate leadership qualities in students. Besides this our Training and Placement cell also focuses on harnessing the latent skills of the students. Indubitably, Rama University not only ensures enormous growth potential but also promotes intellectual as well as personal growth. Rama University has been exemplary on a number of new initiatives which promotes augmentation of research, experimental labs, lecture theatres, students’ facilities, library, IT department and campus facilities. Since this prestigious Institute is only in existence for the last five years, many major improvements have been achieved in the last five years. This includes, increase in faculty, departments, centres, teaching staff, students, academic programs. Significant improvement has been made in student enrolment, their pass percentage, their placements and enrolment of students. New initiatives like entrepreneurship development, industrial labs support for competitive exams/placements have increased in the last five years. Ultimately, Rama University provides a holistic learning environment where it not only imparts education but also inculcates values that equips our future aspirants to face the forthcoming problems and be an ideal to others to lead the society, country and the world.

GOVERNANCE

UNIVERSITY GOVERNANCE Rama University has a well-defined Governance structure. The University has various authorities in place viz. the Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor, the Board of Management, Academic Council, Planning & Monitoring Board, Finance Committee, and Boards of Study. Proposals pass through appropriate authorities and resulting decisions are executed by the Executive Council through the Officers of the University. The Vice Chancellor is the Principal Executive Officer of the University and ensures excellence in all academic and administrative functions. IPR Cell

The intangible assets of Rama University are inventions, ideas, innovations, literary work, artistic works of a large base of knowledgeable faculty and highly talented student’s. The Rama University has established IPR Cell to protect the works of faculty Member and students. The Cell was established in the year of 2017 along with a Working Committee under the Chairmanship of the Registrar to coordinate the activities pertaining to the intellectual property of the institute and oversee the filing of patents, research paper, books by faculty/staff of the University including copyrights and other issues. The main purpose of IPR Cells is to propagate, enhance the high legal and scientific vision of IPR. The Cell looks forward to assisting and accelerating the interaction with industries for sustained growth in IPR to contribute to the wealth creation of the state. IPR Cell, Rama University aims to get down the method for promotion and support to innovators of University Personnel et al. for converting their innovative works into IP. The Cell is functioning as the nodal centre for all faculties and researchers for issues associated with IPR. LIBRARY

All Institutes / departments have their own library, to cater to the learning and research needs of students and faculty members. s. All libraries are hubs of intellectual activity and are well-resourced with books, journals, periodicals and e-resources. Wi-fi campuses enable 24x7 usage of e-resources, thus adding to the flexibility of students to study at their pace and time. The Library is to provide information services and access to bibliographic, full text both in digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and information needs of all students, faculty members and staff. The Library remains open, for 358 days of the year, from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight on all working days; 9 a.m. to 12 midnight on Saturdays; 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Sundays and Gazette holidays and for 24 hours during the two examinations each semester.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Encouraging applicants, Rama University in the year 2019-20 tailored its scholarship program for the youth. Based on their specific interests or any that they know of, the individuals could secure their future. With 805 students benefited from this Scholarship program, Rama University reduced the spiking tuition fee and other need educational adorations, which resulted in noticeable improvement of the students’ grades. To promote opportunities and to allow good academics to stand throughout the college Rama University announced its Scholarship amount to Rs 90,24,440 /-. This program nurtured the future of students who aimed for higher education, and almost 30% percent of students on the campus were benefited. besides Rama University’s scholarship the program successfully encouraged students to fulfill their academic goals and their performance with a deserved appraisal. It was this premeditated concept cause of which the fee of 13 students in the year 2019-20 was waived off - allowing them to take their leap of faith. RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT CELL

Examination

The University Examination system is divided in to two parts : - 1. Annaul System, that covers examinations of Faculty of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Dental Sciences, Faculty of Paramedical Sciences, Faculty of Nursing. 2. Semester System, that covers the examinations of Faculty of Commerce & Management, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Professional Studies, Faculty of Juridical Sciences (Law), Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. At the behast of UGC the University has adapted The Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) . The CBCS provides an opportunity for the students to choose courses from the prescribed Core, Elective/Minor or skill based courses. The evaluation is based on Grading System which is considerd to be better than the conventional marks system. In addition to the core subjects the following courses are added to CBCS 1. The 3 days International Conference on Advanced Nanomaterials (ICAN-2020) organized by Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Rama University kick started today on Feb 27, 2020. The conference aims to provide a common platform to renowned scientists, technologists, young researchers from various disciplines to come together for discussing their achievements and recent direction of research. The ICAN-2020 is focused on recent advances in nanotechnology which will cover multidisciplinary fields from theory and experiment to applications of advanced nanomaterials in science, engineering, and technology. The scientific program consisted of a plenary session, invited talks, oral and poster presentations with the insightful talk by the eminent guests. The inaugural session commenced with the addressal of the Dr. N Eswara Prasad, Director, DMSRDE, Kanpur where he began his talk by paying homage to the Honrable Late B.S Kuswah. He acknowledged and appreciated 58 the efforts of Rama University in the field of education and research and he said “nano is one stage on to provide on information capability and enhance the capability of the system very classically.” Furthermore, Honorable Professor Tara Shankar Pal, Ph.D., D.Sc. Several innovations were discussed like Direct seeded rice, Aerobic rice, Lac cultivation, market oriented breeding for chick pea, food and nutritional security, Nanotechnology in agriculture and scope of transgenic etc. In third day, Dr. H. P. Singh, Ex. DDG (horticulture), ICAR, and Ex. Vice Chancellor, RPCAU, Samastipur, Bihar. Dr. Bijendra Singh, DG, UPCAR and Vice Chancellor, ANDUA&T, Kumarganj, Ayodhya and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Director, The Goat Trust, Lucknow were the lead speakers. Major areas of concern were abiotic stress resistance, mushroom cultivation as an option for farmers, crop improvement, dairy and livestock’s and their role in sustainable agriculture. Some innovative farmers also participated and presented their own way and techniques of farming. More than twelve lead lectures were delivered by scientists from different institutions. More than twenty scientists, Assistant Professors and students from different fields participated in Oral presentations. Poster presentations were prepared and presented by a number of students. A team of specialized persons evaluated their presentations and based on that best posters were marked. In general near about 145 persons participated in the conference. It was marked by all the dignitaries that the topic of the conference is especially related with the farming communities. It was focused on necessities and real challenges faced by farmers. 60

4. International conference on Artificial Intelligence & Robotics in Life Sciences (ICAR-2019), - 29-30 November, 2019, FET, Rama University, Kanpur. Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Rama University organized Two- day International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in Life Sciences held on 29-30 November 2019. The life sciences industry is striving to adopt advanced technology solutions, such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA), natural language processing and machine learning (ML) to drive the discovery and development of life-changing treatments. The adaptation of these technologies will help in resolving issues pertaining to product development, drug safety, and pharmacovigilance (PV). The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence & Robotics in Life Science (ICAR-19) was conducted with an aim to bring together scientists, technologists, young researchers from various disciplines across the globe to discuss the benefits of adapting these advanced technologies, its deployment, risks, and scope. The program commenced by paying tribute to the Founder-Chairman of Rama University-Late Dr. Babu Singh Kushwah by the eminent chief guest- Dr. Deepak Garg-Prof. Benette University, Noida, Dr. Andres Fredrick –Prof. National Institute of Information- Tokyo, Japan, Dr. Neelam Shrivastava- Director- Rajkiya Engineering College- Kannuaj along with our Director-Dr. Prateek Singh and Prabyhat Ranjan- Registrar. They discussed how artificial intelligence can be used in the life sciences to combat major issues hindering the growth of the industry. The faculty of commerce and management, Rama University organized three days National Conference on “Entrepreneurship & Innovation” from 21st November to 23rd November 2019 at FCM Department Auditorium, Rama University, Kanpur. The first day of the conference started with an inaugural ceremony by the lightening of the ceremonial lamp and paying tribute to our founder chairman late Dr. B.S Kushwah. Prof. CA Vinod Sharma welcomed all the guests and introduced the three days national conference and IDEATHON. Dean, FCM Rama University Dr. (Prof.) Aftab Alam welcomed the chief guest, Honorable speakers’, delegates, Participants, Media People & students present at the conference. Registrar, Rama University, welcomed the keynote speaker Prof. D.K Bakshi, Chief Mentor & C.E.O. Global Talent Company Limited. Vice-chancellor Dr. Janardhan Amarnath B.J. Rama University declared the conference open. He welcomed Chief Guest Dr. Amitabh Kundu, Ex-Dean & Prof JNU New Delhi by presenting the bouquet. He also talked about the importance of the conference. He told about the situation of India by showing different data & said that India is improving. He also said that “I do believe that there is no Fundamental disequilibrium in Management” you should have the right way for entrepreneurship in the right manner. Prof D.K. Bakshi addressed the audience and the students by calling them “Youngistan of the world”. He motivated the audience by the song “Jaha Daal Daal Par Sone Ki Chidiya Karti Hai Baresa Wo Bharat Desh Hai Mera”. He said that I am surprised that the small town having much better entrepreneurs than the large populated and 62 metropolitan cities. He said that this is the high time for entrepreneurship & Innovation. He said, “Innovation is ‘thought’ which becomes ‘things’ and later gets manifested into Action” After the Prof D.K. Bakshi’s session, Prof. Imran Saleem, Department of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University took to the center stage to talk about four types of revolutions- Human & Animal Development, Agriculture revolutions, Conversion of human revolution, Industrial & Scientific revolutions. He further shares the formula for success “Power of work, Power of effort & Power of consistency to become a successful entrepreneur. Next speaker Prof. Bholanath Dutta President & Convener of MTC Global, defined entrepreneur & entrepreneurship in the simplest way and said that it is the era of new hopes, inspiration, new idea generation & creation. We should try to find out our needs and fill that need through creation. The Book entitled “Entrepreneurship & Innovation” was released at the conference. The First technical session stared with Prof. Kundu. The total 51 research Papers /Abstracts were received and the delegates presented their Research Papers. The day concluded with Momento distribution to the esteemed guest by Dean Prof. Aftab Alam, Mr. Prabhat Ranjan, Registrar Rama University, and Dr. Janardhana Amaranath B.J., V.C. Rama University. It was followed by the vote of thanks & the National Anthem. he second day of the conference started with Dr. M. Wasi Beg, former director UITM, Ghaziabad. He addressed the students and participants on “Innovation and entrepreneurship” by giving an example of China. Furthermore, he told that “Product innovation is not only an innovation, idea generation & identification is also an innovation”. Next speaker Mr. Gautam Rajesh Shelly, CEO of Triny, discussed “How to create ideas & start a start-up. He also told that we should start a business with small & keep doing multiple things. Mr. Javed Akhtar, AGM, Services Fleetguard Filter Private Ltd. told that commitment is very important in ease of doing business and for a new entrepreneur. If you have a commitment to self, you can start your business/start- up with small capital. he third day of the conference started with a brief summary of the last 2 days’ conference & declaration of the Ideathon result. The chief guest of third-day conference Dr. Nawab Ali Khan, Chairman, Department of Commerce, AMU Aligarh distributed prize and certificate to the winners of Ideathon. The best three business ideas/plans presenters received first prizes of Rs. 10000, second Rs. 8000 & third prize was for Rs. 5000. Another guest for the day was Dr. Sharda Ramesh, Director cum Professor, International University Pune. She has been a research expert who has guided more than 400 Research Projects to date. She has 35 independent research projects to her credit. She has been awarded for Best Administrator by TNAI in 2019 The first plenary session started as per schedule. The first keynote speaker Mr. Raghvendra, Associate Professor discussed Patient Safety Practices in detail. The second session was taken by Mr. Madan Mohan Gupta, Assistant professor who highlighted professional development and practical changes in nursing advancements. A thought-provoking session was taken by Dr. I Clement. He highlighted the challenges and issues that Indian nurses face in nursing practices. He pointed out the major issues in nursing practice and discussed possible solutions for them. He also urged young nurses to be assertive. He motivated everyone with his session. The session by Dr. Shardha Ramesh has thrown light upon the current public health challenges in India. The session was very interactive. She elaborated on the topic and touched every area possible through her remarkable lecture.

The variability of Appliance design, 84 case selection, usage, merits and demerits of the appliance was discussed in detail. Followed by the detailed description on the manufacturing of brackets, casting, sintering, MIM process were described along with the finishing of bracket design. Usage of Bios tar and fabrication of different appliances using Bios tar was also explained in detail.

World AIDS Day 07 Dec 2019 Faculty of Professional Studies The students from the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism conducted a street play on HIV and AIDs awareness. The light-hearted street play communicated how poverty and ignorance lead people to approach unprofessional doctors who in turn use and reuse syringes and IVs and other contaminated sources of HIV. The students also suggested people approach NGOs for getting a free and confidential check-up for HIV & AIDS. Awareness program about Child trafficking and HIV AIDS 23 Nov 2019 Faculty of Professional Studies The Faculty collaborated with NGO Amin Welfare Trust to spread awareness about Child Trafficking and HIV AIDS. The bachelors and masters students together presented a street play at Kanpur Central Railway Station on HIV AIDS and Child Trafficking. With the help of light-hearted satire and songs, they communicated how young children, infants, and women get trapped into the despicable business of human trafficking. The students also helped the people present in that area to co-operate with the NGO for getting free and confidential check-up for HIV & AIDS. Green Campus Initiative 1 July, 2019 Faculty of Juridical Sciences Aimed at implementing the green protocol on the campus. The event highlighted efforts to recycle water and water harvesting are undertaken. Also spread awareness about efforts are being undertaken to replace conventional energy in the form of electricity by solar energy wherever possible. Swachhta Pakhwada 1-15 September, 2019 Faculty of Dental Sciences The Faculty constituted a ‘Jal Shakti Team’ to conduct awareness campaign in Lakhanpur, Dhakanpurwa and Kanpur Dehat. The students crated awareness drive for Rain water harvesting, tips for saving water, harmful effects of plastics. The students also visited a community radio station, “Waqt ki Awaz, 91.2 FM” run by NGO, which broadcasted the campaign in nearby villages in a radius of 30 km.

Swachhata Hi Seva – Plastic Waste Free Campaign 2 and 4 October, 2019 Faculty of Dental Sciences “Shramdaan” was performed on 2nd October around the institution premises to get rid of plastic waste. Faculty members and students actively and whole-heartedly contributed “Shramdaan” to make the Faculty and its vicinity free of plastic waste. They also organized an awareness rally outside the college to spread the message among people for their contribution towards plastic-free India. 92

Awareness Program against Plastic Pollution 23 October 2019 Faculty of Juridical Sciences Faculty of Juridical Sciences and NSS Unit of Rama University organized a Special Camp in Village- Kukra Dev in Chaubeypur Block Mandhana, Kanpur (U.P.). The objective of this special camp was to spread awareness about the hazards of plastic and educate the villagers about the impact of plastic pollution.

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Skit 4 Nov 2019 Faculty of Juridical Sciences Organised in collaboration with NSS Unit, Rama University, Kanpur on Brahmavart Ghat Bithoor, Kanpur. Students performed their skits on “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”, national integration, and other related issues. The initiative aimed to generate awareness and also to promote girl child education. The idea of “each one teach one” will help to enhance the girl child education based upon the famous quote “educate a woman and you educate the family” and “educate a girl and you educate the future”. Legal Awareness Camp-Jagruk Nagrik Bane 13 November 2019 Faculty of Juridical Sciences Legal Aid Committee of Faculty of Juridical Sciences organized a legal awareness camp-“JAGRUK NAGRIK BANE” at Panki Railway Station, Kanpur. The participating students interacted with the passengers and people present at the station and urged them to travel with a valid and appropriate ticket for their destination. They were requested not to litter the platform and train with organic waste like fruit peels & inorganic wastes like polythene, plastic bottles, etc. and to use dustbin to dump any kind of wastage. People and the passengers along with the railway authorities present there showed their interest and appreciated the awareness campaign.

The topics discussed under the program were adolescent health and menstrual hygiene. An interactive session highlighted adolescent health problems, the application of sanitary pads, and their disposal with the students. 94

Workshop on Women Self Defence 15 November, 2019 Faculty of Juridical Sciences A Self Defence Workshop for all the female students, staff and faculty was organised. The objective of this workshop was to increase awareness among women about the various techniques and tools that they can use to protect themselves in any untoward situation.

Awareness Program on Cervical Cancer 15 November 2019 Faculty of Engineering & Technology In association with Omega International organized an Awareness Program on Cervical Cancer and the importance of using the right hygiene products to tackle the stigma was organised.. The students attended an awareness session on the Do’s and Don’ts of the hygiene practices and also learned about the hazards so that they can safeguard themselves against the threat of cervical cancer. Several doctors and gynecologist were also a part of this initiative. Joining Hands to Fight Back HIV 16 November 2019 Faculty of Professional Studies In collaboration with NGOs Warsi Seva Sadan and Amin Welfare Trust to fight back HIV and spread awareness about it the students of the Journalism & Mass Communication presented a street play that focused on making people aware about HIV and AIDS. Beside this, they also enlightened the youth about the harmful side of using drugs, that too with same syringe and the dire consequences of having unprotected copulation. Thought the message was very serious, but the way of delivering that won everybody’s heart.

Self Defense Training - Mission Sahasi 22-26 November 2019 Faculty of Agricultural Sciences & Allied Industries Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organized ‘Mission Sahasi’ in association with Rama University’s Faculty of Agricultural Sciences & Allied Industries and NSS wing to educate our students on basic Martial arts and other tricks for self-defense. The training was provided free of cost and was well-received and appreciated by the students.

COVID2019 Awareness Campaign – Break the Chain 23 March 2020 Faculty of Juridical Sciences In a bid to contain the spread of Corona virus or COVID-19 virus across the state, the Faculty launched a Mass Hand Washing Campaign named ‘Break the Chain’. The campaign aims to educate people about the importance of public and personal hygiene. It also urged people to use hand sanitizers when they are outdoors and when they touch any surface.

Children’s Day 16 Nov 2019 Faculty of Dental Sciences Department of Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry celebrated “Children’s Day” and organized a free dental checkup, coloring competition, and cake cutting ceremony along with an audio-visual presentation to educate and raise awareness among the kids as well as their parents about importance of milk dentition and how to maintain good oral hygiene and be caries-free. 98

Cells Clubs and Hobby Groups

With a clear motive to upgrade personal skills and social perspectives, Rama University created cells or, better say, hobby groups to promote students’ co-curricular activities. These clubs were divided into a broad spectrum focusing on culture, sports, and scientific activities. These groups helped individuals develop their soft skills, taught them to be work and think as a group, and paved them a creative path that led towards leadership skills in personal and professional life. The student’s hobby clubs fashioned in Rama University successfully created a bond between different communities lead by the perceived students and monitor faculty members. The clubs aimed to educate students to explore the best in them; to develop as well rounded individuals. Moreover, these clubs were the best way to take a break from studies and promoted them to indulge in event management and problem-solving activities creatively. These clubs had a grave impact on students who were confined within their boundaries and acceded them to engage with diverse individuals and cultures.

The Faculty provides technical training on cultivation of various varieties of mushrooms such as oysters, buttons, and milky mushrooms to students, youth, and farmers throughout the year.

IDEATHON- A Business Plan Competition 21-23 November 2019 Faculty of Commerce and Management Conducted as a platform to present Innovative & Sustainable IDEA for any business or a social problem. The event witnessed participation from 20 teams. The competition was moderated by expert panelists drawn from Industry & Academia - Prof Wasi Beg, Dr. Javed Akhtar, and Gautam Rajesh Shelly. All the IDEATHON teams were given free access and participation invitation in the mega Global Entrepreneurship Summit to be held at AMU for showcasing their business plans. 100

Faculty Enrichment Program (FEP 1.0) 8-11 January, 2020 Faculty of Engineering & Technology Training and Placement Department A four day workshop was organised for the development of the engineering Faculty members. The training program focused on inculcating better teaching techniques which will be useful for the teachers. The other modules covered were Classroom Management, Effective Communication Skills, Personality Development, Stress Management, etc. The sessions included a motivational talk; an activity-based lecture on Communication and Interpersonal Skills and its importance in today’s educational setup; a session on Effective Teaching and Classroom Management; Personality Development and Stress Management.

Faculty Enrichment Program (FEP 2.0) 7 March, 2020 Faculty of Commerce & Management Training & Placement Department The Enrichment Club of Rama University organized Faculty Enrichment Session on Team Building. The sessions explained why team building is the most important investment any organization can make towards its success. The participants learnt effective team building mitigates conflict, building trust, encourages communication, and how to increase collaboration.

Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp 16-19 September 2019 Faculty of Agricultural Sciences & Allied Industries Sponsor: Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India Mr. Uday Nath Mishra, Program Coordinator, Center for Technical and Development, Amethi, discussed entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs and explained how the entrepreneurs can benefit from various government schemes like Prime Minister Employment Generation Program and Chief Minister Rural Employment Scheme. The Khadi Village Industries Board Assistant Development Officer, Mr. Subhash Shukla and Mohammad Sharib talked on various schemes of the Khadi department. Bank of India, Branch Manager Sanjay Dwivedi held a detailed discussion on how entrepreneurs can avail loans for their start-ups and business Constitutional Law Day 26 Nov 2019 Faculty of Juridical Sciences Celebrated at Udetpur, Chaubepur to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India on 26 November 1949. The aim of celebrating Constitution Day of India is to spread awareness on the importance of the Indian Constitution and to spread awareness about its architect, Dr B R Ambedkar.
