Lincoln Service and Eagle Service Changes between St. Louis and on Select Dates in November 2014

Possible Delays through December 1, 2014

Railroad track and signal upgrades being performed by , will affect and Texas Eagle, as described below:

Lincoln Service Temporary Service Changes - November 16, 17 and 18 Lincoln Service passengers will be provided bus service in both directions between Springfield and St. Louis. Note: The bus schedules are not the same as the respective schedules. Contact for details.

Lincoln Service: Sunday, November 16, 2014  305 and 307 will terminate at Springfield, where passengers will be provided bus service to Carlinville, Alton and St. Louis.

Lincoln Service: Monday, November 17, 2014  Trains 300*, 302, 304 and 306 will not operate between St. Louis and Springfield. Bus service can be provided between St. Louis, Alton, Carlinville and Springfield. At Springfield, passengers may board the train. *Alternate service will not be provided for Train 300 between St. Louis and Springfield.  Trains 301, 303, 305 and 307 will terminate at Springfield, where bus service will be provided to Carlinville, Alton and St. Louis.

Lincoln Service: Tuesday, November 18, 2014  Train 300 will originate in Springfield and will not operate between St. Louis, Alton, Carlinville and Springfield. Bus service will not be provided. Passengers may make reservations aboard other Lincoln Service trains.  Train 302 will not operate between St. Louis and Springfield. Bus service will be provided at all missed stations.

Texas Eagle Temporary Service Changes - November 17, Only On November 17 (only), Texas Eagle Trains 21/321 and 22/322/422 will be affected, as described below:

Texas Eagle: Monday, November 17, 2014  Train 21 will detour between Chicago and St. Louis, and will not serve any intermediate stations. Passengers with reservations will be provided bus service to intermediate stations. Note: Buses representing Train 21 will operate earlier to St. Louis than the respective train schedule to allow passengers to make connections with Train 21 at St. Louis. Contact Amtrak for revised bus schedules.  Train 22/422 will detour between St. Louis and Chicago, and will not serve any intermediate stations. Passengers on Train 22 destined for Chicago will remain on the train. Passengers on Train 22 with reservations to stations between St. Louis and Chicago will detrain in St. Louis and board a bus to their destination.  Train 321 and 322 will be cancelled on November 17. Passengers can make reservations aboard Lincoln Service train/bus service.

Possible Delays through December 1, 2014: The Lincoln Service and Texas Eagle can encounter delays of 45 minutes to one hour while track improvements continue between Joliet and St. Louis.
