Anyone wishing to contribute to or learn more about this scholarship should contact Emmanuel College's office of college resources at (617) 735-9771. INTRODUCTION Over the last seven seasons, the Emmanuel College Saints have accumulated a record of 130-36. Last season, the Saints fin ished with a 20-6 record marking the third time in the past seven years that the Saints have won 20 or more games. To end their 1989-1990 season, the Saints lost to Clark University in the ECAC finals cham pionship game, which marke0 the sixth consecutive year Emmanuel has played in an ECAC or NCA A tournament. This year, the Emmanuel Saints will be competing in one of the toughest schedules in the country. Along with regular arch-rivals Salem State, Southern Maine, Colby and Eastern Connecticut, the Saints host their own tournament as well as playing in ones at Manhattanville, Albany State, Connecticut College and the prestigious National Catholic Championships at Loras College (Iowa) , featuring 13 powerful NAIA schools. Emmanuel has eight lettermen returning to the roster, led by senior Kerry DelMonico. Much is expected from juniors Theresa Harrison, Devonna Williams, Leslie Moore and sophomores B.J. Sparrow, Laurie Gillis and Christine Kraunelis. The Saints are also depending on this year's freshmen class recruits: Starla Anderson of Patterson, NJ, Shawanda Bey of Newark NJ, Joy Williamson of Pat terson, NJ, Heather Dutton of Portland, ME, Marvenia Graham of Albany, NY, Stephanie Hill of Newark, NJ, Precious Drayton of Brighton, MA, Angelique Smith of Cambridge, MA and Lisa Bocelli of Malden, MA. Earlene White, senior center from Washington, D.C., is returning after a year's absence. Head coach and athletic director, Andrew Yosinoff, is returning for his thirteenth season with the Saints. Andy is ranked tenth na tionally among active Division III coaches with a record of 204-84. Assistant Coach David Lammers has been with the Saints since 1978, and Ed Kelly is beginning his first year as assistant coach. Ed was the head coach at Essex Community College for the past two years. With a combination of experienced tournament players and a talented group of freshmen athletes, the Emmanuel Saints will con tinue to compete at the national level this season. General Hyde School is an independent, coeducational college-preparatory boarding school with emphasis on academic challenge, character education, and student leadership. All sophomores and new juniors take the PSAT, ACT, and SAT, and one hundred percent of seniors apply to four-year colleges. Boarding campuses are located in Bath, Maine and Woodstock, Connecticut; nearly all students are boarding students from across the United States and a number of foreign countries. Approximately twenty percent of the student body is international. Admissions Hyde School admits students who demonstrate academic aptitude and a desire to develop strong personal character and leadership. Admission is based on a review of the prior academic record, educational testing, and an in-depth interview of the student and parents. Due to the character education aspect of the curriculum, it is customary that students will spend a minimum of two academic years at the school prior to graduation. Accreditation Hyde School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Curriculum As a college-preparatory school, Hyde School’s curriculum
