Tue 3 Dec Arrive Siem Reap. Meet & Greet by our local guide and transfer to your hotel.

Afternoon at leisure to rest up and familiarize yourself with the hotel’s many facilities.
1800 Welcome dinner and show.

0600 If you are an early riser, consider meeting in the lobby for an easy jog around the resort
Buffet Breakfast at hotel.
0830 Angkor Thom (2-3 hours) Drive to the fortified royal city of Angkor Thom an area that covers 10 square km built in the 12th century and home to as many as one million people during its prime. Entering by the South Gate lined on both sides by statues of demons and gods each carrying a giant naga. Continue to the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper Kings former area for public ceremonies both adorned with dramatic bas reliefs.
Continue to the ruins of Baphuon, Royal Palace and Phimeanakes before continuing to the mysterious Bayon Temple, a fascinating temple of narrow corridors, steep stairs and amazing collections of 54 towers decorated with smiling enigmatically down from every angle.
1200 Lunch on own Ta Prohm Temple (2 hours) Ta Prohm is one of the most popular parks of Angkor as much of the jungle has not been cleared and it looks very much as most of the Angkor monuments would have appeared when European explores first stumbled across them.
Continue on to Angkor Wat, the crown jewel of Khemer architecture and the national symbol and highlight to you visit to Cambodia. It is the largest, best preserved and most religiously significant of the Angkor temples.
Dinner on own. Try one of the fine restaurants in town.
Thur 5 Dec Buffet Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure
1130 Banteay Srei (3 hours) Banteay Srei is a 10th century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and praised as a preciouis gem or the jewel of Khmer. It is largely built of red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to the elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still observable today.
Banteay Samre (60 minutes) Banteay Samre was built in the early 12th century, it is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god of Vishnu and named after Samre an ancient people of Indochina.
Pre Rup Temple (30 minutes) It is a Hindu temple built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 962 or early 962. It consists of a pyramid shaped temple with the upper-most of the three tiers carrying five square shrines arranged in a quincunx.
Fri 6 Dec Kampong Kleang with boat trip (4 hours) Buffet Breakfast at hotel.
0800 Morning boat ride to Tonle Sap Lake visiting the floating fishermen villages.
On return drive a visit to the “Les Chantiers-Ecoles” a local Arts and Crafts vocational center which trains over 650 apprentices a year. Shopping at the Artisans shop
1830 Le Gout Restaurant & Cafe Dinner (pasta & carbs)
Sat 7 Dec A day of leisure/packet pick up Buffet breakfast at hotel.

Sun 08 Dec Race Day! The day you have been waiting for. 0400 Light breakfast items at the hotel. 0430 Early morning drive to nearby Angkor Wat Temple, startline of the Angkor Wat Half Marathon or 10K.
We will have our own KLE recovery tent with refreshments & fruits An experience to remember!
Relax at the hotel’s large pool this afternoon feeling exhausted, yet triumphant. A good time enjoy a post-race massage at the hotel.
