his year was one of outstanding musical achievement in the UNI TSchool of Music Jazz Division. Fall began with excitement as the Jazz Division performance season opened with a Jazz Combos concert on October 6, followed by the Jazz Band One concert on October 30. Also in October, the Jazz Panthers toured to South East Polk High School to perform at the Honors Band Festival held in the Des Moines area. The Jazz Panthers Spotlight Series Concert followed on November 5, featuring guest artist Steve Owen, saxophone.
