GHOSTOBER Month-Long Halloween Celebration Throughout October This October it’s Halloween all month long on Destination America with a celebration of all things that go bump in the night. October – make that GHOSTOBER! – keeps the thrills and chills coming with week after week of programming so spooky viewers will never want to leave the safety of their sofa. Destination America delivers tricks and treats every night of the week during GHOSTOBER, culminating in a supernatural television event sure to scare socks off. From the network that delivered the first-ever live televised exorcism last fall, comes the two-hour PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN: THE BLACK MONK HOUSE special, premiering Monday, October 31 at 9/8c only on Destination America.
PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN: THE BLACK MONK HOUSE Epic Television Event Airs Mon, Oct 31 from 9-11pm ET Follow Nick Groff and Katrina Weidman from the hit series PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN as they conduct a special investigation of the Black Monk House in Yorkshire, England – universally feared as the home of the most violent poltergeist activity ever reported. Groff and Weidman will confine themselves to the infamous house for a record-breaking 100 hours, the longest paranormal investigation ever on television, in an attempt to capture the most convincing paranormal evidence ever to be recorded. Today, the Black Monk House sits empty as it continues to challenge paranormal investigators and enthusiasts. Over the past 50 years, visitors to the Black Monk House have reported unexplainable demonic sounds, objects levitating, and people being physically attacked. There was even an account of a little girl being dragged up a flight of stairs by an unseen assailant, forcing her family to flee the home. It’s believed that the spirits in the house can be traced to an ancient burial ground and gallows that were once located near the land where the house currently sits.
THE EXORCIST FILE – HAUNTED BOY World TV Premiere Airs Wednesday, October 12 at 10/9c While filming in a haunted asylum in St. Louis, documentary filmmakers uncover a secret diary of the infamous 1949 exorcism involving a 13-year-old boy possessed by the devil that later inspired the book and movie “The Exorcist.” Using high-tech paranormal investigation tools along with a legion of supernatural experts, they seek to capture evidence of the scariest entity known to man, the Unholy Ghost. This is the untold real story of "The Exorcist,” a chronicle of true events based on the actual priest's secret diary the world was not to see… until now.

Prospect Place (Enhanced Episode) – Premieres Wednesday, October 26 at 9/8c Prospect Place, in Trinway, Ohio, was once a stop on the Underground Railroad. This historic mansion lures the Ghost Brothers to find out if an evil entity and other unsettled spirits that date back to the Civil War era, still reside on the property. The Allen House (Enhanced Episode) – Premieres Wednesday, October 26 at 10/9c The Ghost Brothers travel to Monticello, Ark., to investigate claims of doppelgangers and apparitions at the Allen House connected to a love triangle and a jilted woman's suicide that took place in the house in 1949.

Haunted Hospital – Sunday, October 30 at 10/9c Paranormal researcher, Ursula Bielski goes inside one of Chicago's most haunted places to investigate sightings of a devil baby, but brings home something just as scary. Ghost hunters come face-to-face with a terrifying entity stalking the crumbling hallways of a disused Utah hospital. Investigator Joe Cetrone has to battle a powerful animal spirit summoned by dark satanic rituals.
HAUNTED COLLECTOR Network Premieres Continue Tuesdays at 10/9c; Moves to 9/8c Starting October 25 John Zaffis and his family are a team of renowned paranormal investigators, tracking down haunted items like paintings, guns, jewelry and dolls. Once identified, these obscure items are collected and stored in the family's museum, helping clients bring normalcy back to their lives. Spirits of Gettysburg / Headless Horseman –Tuesday, October 4 at 10/9c The team travels to Gettysburg to investigate a bed and breakfast, The Inn at Herr Ridge, after the manager claims to have seen two ghosts walking through walls and forks and knives found embedded in the floor. Next, they head to Winfield, W.Va., to investigate the historic Bowyer House, built in 1841, and the surrounding area which includes reports of a headless horseman riding through the area at night. Ghosts of Geneva / Fort Fear – Tuesday, October 11 at 10/9c The team travels to Geneva, N.Y., where a woman and her granddaughter claim their house is haunted by a 4-year-old smallbox victim named Thomas Mackin. They also investigate the Old Wayne County Jail where William Fee was hanged for murdering a woman. Next, the team investigates Fort Wayne in Detroit, where it is claimed a local roofer was killed by the U.S. National Guard, believing he was a sniper during the Detroit Riot of 1967. Shadow Boxer / Ghost Storm – Tuesday, October 18 at 10/9c The team travels to Kansas City, Mo., to investigate claims of two little girl ghosts who are frightening the children of Whosoever Community Center. They learn that the building used to be schoolhouse in 1889 and housed boxing programs throughout the years. Next, they head to Joplin, Mo., to investigate a private residence where a man died after being impaled during the tornado of May 22, 2011, and has been contacting the family with messages of the number "22" through a 19th-century mirror above the staircase. Lakeside Terror / Pythian Secrets – Tuesday, October 25 at 9/8c The team travels to Henderson, Ark., to investigate Lake Norfolk Inn where there are claims that a spirit grabs guests while going down the stairs. They learn that the Maynard family had generations of grave plots in their own cemetery that was flooded by the lake where the resort is located. Next, they head to Springfield, Mo., to investigate Pythian Castle where an unfriendly houseguest haunts the halls. During World War II, the castle's basement may have been used by the U.S. Army as a prison for Nazi S.S. agent POWs.
GHOST MINE Network Premieres Continue Thursdays at 9/8c and 10/9c In the remote woods of Sumpter, Oregon, lies one of the richest gold mines in the United States. It was abandoned 80 years ago when a series of tragedies gave it an infamous reputation for being haunted. The mine’s new owner has decided to take on the notorious legend and reopen the mine, assembling a colorful team of miners alongside a pair of experienced paranormal investigators, in hopes of finding a fortune. Vengeful Spirit – Thursday, October 6 at 9/8c After a series of mysterious power failures in the mine, the team encounters strange activity that leaves one of the investigators shaken. And as the miners forge ahead, surveillance cameras in the tunnel capture a startling, unexplained discovery. Looking for answers, Kristen meets up with a Native American historian who believes he knows the source of the paranormal activity at the mine. Will the team's investigation of the town's historic Dredge reveal a dark curse on Sumpter itself? Phantom Wind – Thursday, October 6 at 10/9c The miners continue to find high-grade gold ore in the old mine, while the paranormal team makes a surprising discovery after an eerie encounter with a mysterious "phantom wind" in the mine leaves two miners badly shaken. Secret Passage – Thursday, October 13 at 9/8c The paranormal investigators learn about the mine's connection to a secret society and that there may be another, more mysterious tunnel within reach. Will Patrick and Kristen track down the new mine? Has it been sealed all these years to keep people out or to keep something else inside? Gold Fever – Thursday, October 13 at 10/9c The miners vote to push forward and begin working in the mysterious new mineshaft. But Patrick and Kristen are concerned- was the old tunnel caved in to keep something evil inside? Return to Darkness – Thursday, October 20 at 9/8c The crew of the Crescent Mine returns, but any hopes for a ‘normal’ mining season are quickly dashed when the team blasts through new tunnel walls only to find evidence of both gold and the paranormal. Lost Chamber – Thursday, October 20 at 10/9c With a new miner joining the crew, the team is determined to break through the debris barrier in the newly discovered ballroom. But after a series of strange setbacks, they begin to question what else could be in the mine. Phantom Intruder – Thursday, October 27 at 9/8c After a mysterious fuse malfunction blasts RIPA into oblivion, the Crescent miners encounter a flurry of paranormal activity. The team's search for an elusive phantom intruder now turns up a chilling connection to the past. Wandering Spirits – Thursday, October 27 at 10/9c Patrick and Kristen connect Sumpter's tragic past to the paranormal activity at the Crescent. In the mine, as the existing quartz vein 'taps out', the miners finally 'dog-leg' around the cave-in off the ballroom only to find a greater mystery!

Area 51 / Cajun Apparition – Saturday, October 22 at 8/7c Bill's team goes to St. Francisville, La., to recreate a 2001 video taken at the historic Myrtles Plantation of an alleged ghost apparition. Then, Ben's team goes to Rachel, Nevada, to recreate a UFO video allegedly sneaked out of Area 51 and follow up their investigation with a nighttime sky watch of the base. Whaley Ghost House / Muck Monster – Saturday, October 22 at 9/8c Bill and his team try to recreate photos of purported ghostly apparitions taken at the historic Whaley House in San Diego. Meanwhile, Ben's team travels to Jupiter, Fla., to investigate a video of an unknown river creature referred by locals as the muck monster. Asylum Apparition / Mystery Over Mexico – Saturday, October 29 at 8/7c Ben's team investigates two videos from Waverly Hills Sanatorium near Louisville, Ky., of two alleged apparitions moving in a hallway and of a ball that appears to move around on its own. Meanwhile, Bill's team investigates a video of an alleged fleet of UFOs flying over Guadalajara, Mexico.
