PITCHING MATCHUP LHP Braeden Ogle (2-0, 3.00) vs. LHP Daniel Tillo (0-0, 1.96) Ogle: Has tossed back-to-back quality starts, including a career-high 8K on 4/21 Tillo: Spun a seven-inning gem vs. HAG on 4/20, allowing 2ER on 2H with 2K WEST VIRGINIA OUTSLUGS ROME IN SERIES FINALE: Mason Martin, Ryan Peurifoy and Deon Stafford all homered on Thursday, with Peurifoy’s three-run home run in the eighth inning marking the difference as the Power LAST ROAD TRIP (4/12-18) pushed past the Braves, 10-8, at Appalachian Power Park in the series finale against Rome. BB: 23 SO: 69 MASHING MITCHELL: Calvin Mitchell went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk in Thursday’s series finale, SB: 6 extending his hitting streak to a team-best 12 games and his on-base streak to 14 games. His two-run double moved Pitching/Defensive Statistics: W-L: 4-2 his team-leading RBI total to 17 on the year, a mark which ranks highest in the Pirates system. Mitchell’s 12-game ERA: 3.35 hitting streak is traced back to April 14 while his 14-game on-base streak dates back to April 12 when the Power Quality Starts: 3 opened up their road schedule in Hickory. Over Mitchell’s 12-game stretch, the 2017 second-round selection is IP: 52.0 boasting a .417 (20-for-48) clip with a home run and 11 RBI. Mitchell is the first Power player to string together at H: 53 least a 10-game hitting streak since Carlos Munoz posted a 12-game stretch from July 9-22, 2017. Due to this recent R: 27 surge, Mitchell has upticked his season average to .354, which sits at second-best in the South Atlantic League. Martin rocked his fourth home run of the year to tie him with Oneil Cruz for the team lead, while Stafford homered in consecutive games, the first time a Power player has accomplished that feat since 2018 VS. LEGENDS Adrian Valerio on August 3 and 4 against Delmarva. Peurifoy’s eight-inning gamechanger was his first home run of 0-0 the season.
