    Sunshine Tour Qualifying School 2014 21 – 25 January 2014 Bloemfontein & Schoeman Park Golf Clubs Entry fee: R6 000 Entries Close: Non Sunshine Tour Members: Thursday 21 st November 2013 (Midnight) 2013 Sunshine Tour Members: Tuesday 17 th December 2013 (12 Noon) In the event of the number of entries exceeding 312, a pre qualifying round will be played immediately preceding the Qualifying School over 36 holes on a course to be advised (See Par 4 for further information) 1. ELIGIBILITY FOR ENTRY a) All male professional players over the age of 18 years (at the commencement of the Q School) b) All male amateur golfers, over the age of 18 years (at the commencement of the Q School), with a handicap of scratch (0) or better under the Handicapping Scheme adopted by the recognized authority controlling golf in the country where they reside Note to Amateurs: It is not in itself a breach of the Rules of Amateur Status for an amateur golfer under the jurisdiction of the R & A Rules Ltd. to file an entry for and play in the Sunshine Tour’s Qualifying School, provided that the player waives his right to prize money by completing the appropriate forms attached to this entry form. An amateur golfer who fails to waive his right to prize money is in breach of the Rules, but if he is unsuccessful at the Qualifying School, he may apply for re-instatement as an amateur. In order for a player’s entry to be accepted, the following rules will apply: - All professionals, other than 2011, 2012 & 2013 Sunshine Tour members, and Members or Registered Apprentices of the PGA of SA, are required to submit results from RECENT COMPETITIVE PERFORMANCES within the last 12 months with their entry.

    2020/2021 Sunshine Tour Qualifying School Rules and Conditions of Entry First Stage: Tues 25 – Fri 28 February 2020 State Mines CC & Irene CC Final Stage: Mon 02 – Thurs 05 March 2020 Houghton GC Entry Deadlines: Non Sunshine Tour members – Tuesday 3rd December 2019 @ 5pm Sunshine Tour members – Wednesday 12th February 2020 @ Noon Entry fees: Non Sunshine Tour members entering online before 5pm on Friday 1 November - R7 500 Non Sunshine Tour members entering online after 5pm on Friday 1 November - R8 000 Sunshine Tour members entering online pay R7 500 All players submitting a “hard copy” application form (instead of entering online) – R8 500 1. FORMAT The Qualifying School will be played over two stages of stroke play as follows: FIRST QUALIFYING STAGE (72 holes stroke play) The First Stage will be played over two courses, namely State Mines CC & Irene CC from the Tuesday 25th – Friday 28th February 2020. All applicants will be placed into the First Stage, except for those exempt for the Final Stage. Applicants who enter online may select which venue they would like to play, by entering into the applicable tournament online. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate a player’s venue preference, in order to keep the numbers equal, the final course allocations will be published 2 days after the close of entries, and will be at the sole discretion of the Sunshine Tour, with players who have entered first getting priority. In the event of a venue being oversubscribed, subsequent applicants will be allocated to the venue which has availability.

    TORO TOUR RULES ABOUT The TORO TOUR shall be under the management and control of the Tournament Committee, whose decisions on all matters relating to the tournaments will be final. PARTICIPANTS The competition is open to all golfers in possession of the corresponding golf license from the Royal Spanish Golf Federation or a handicap certificate from their countries golf federation. Eligible players are PRO’s or amateurs with a maximum handicap of 18 on the day of registration. CATEGORIES Category 1: PRO (Men + Women* + Seniors*) Category 2: Men (Amateur WAGR) Category 3: Women* (Amateur WAGR) *Distance reduction for Women + Seniors following PGA recognition TOURNAMENTS AND REGISTRATION Players can sign up for tournaments online on the Toro Tour www.torotour.com website. PAYMENT AND TOURNAMENT ENTRY CONFIRMATION Final tournament entry confirmation is when the tournament entry amount has been paid and received in full as cleared funds. Please keep a printed receipt for your records of all online transactions. ENTRY & ENTRY FEES Entry fees are published on the website www.torotour.com. Entries for each tournament close at 12.00 hrs. 7 days prior to the first tournament day. If spots are still available after this time players must directly contact the Toro Tour office.
