Class Number Restrictions We the organisers reserve the right to close entries for any class should the maximum number be met.

On Site Stabling

Stabling is available and can be booked directly with the venue. Please call Victoria on 07989674885 to secure yours. Café and bar will be open during the day/evening, serving hot and cold food and drink. 1. All lead rein riders not to have attained their 9th birthday. 2. All lead rein ponies not to exceed 128cm. 3. All first ridden riders not to have attained their 12th birthday. 4. All riders ages are calculated form the 1st January of the current year. 5. In all lead rein classes, the handlers lead rein must be attached to the noseband. 6. All novice competitors are asked to enter in the spirit intended. 7. All horses and ponies must be 4 years and over in all ridden classes. The age is calculated from the 1st January in the year of birth. 8. Riders must have attained their 3rd birthday on the day of the show. 9. Any rider that falls from their horse or pony in any class may not continue. Any horse or pony that gets loose from its handler in any in hand class may not continue. 10. The judge’s decision is final in all classes. 11. The onus is on the competitor to be available for classes when called. Failure to do so may lead to elimination – No refunds will be given. 12. No horse or pony will be considered for a placing if it was not present for the initial go round from when the class goes into trot. 13. In hand classes – Late entry is at the judge’s discretion. 14. Snaffle bridles only in lead rein, first ridden and novice classes. 15. Hard hats must be worn and correctly fastened when mounted. Hats must conform to PAS standards. It is recommended that all in hand competitor also wear a hard hat. 16. All competitors must be smartly and correctly dressed for all classes. 17. Spurs must not be worn by any junior riders under the age of 16 as of the 1st January in the current year. Spurs may be worn in any other classes at the judge’s discretion. 18. Whips must not exceed 30”, if a competitor excessively uses the whip in any classes they will be asked to leave the . This rule also applies to the loading of difficult horses / ponies. Individuals will be asked to leave the showground. 19. Back numbers should be worn in every class. Failure to do so will result in the competitor to be ineligible to compete. 20. No jewellery or visible body piercing are to be worn. 21. Stallions are not eligible for lead rein or first ridden classes. Juniors who have not attained their 11th birthday as of the 1st January in the current year may not ride any m&m small breed pony stallion not exceeding 138cm. juniors who have not attained their 14th birthday as of the 1st January in the current year may not ride any m&m large breed pony stallion exceeding 138cm. 22. Stallions and colts (inc yearlings) may not be led by anyone who has not attained their 16th Birthday as of 1st January in the current year. 23. Entry fees will not be refunded in any circumstances. 24. Abuse to any judge, steward, official or competitor by anyone will not be tolerated. This will result in all individuals concerned being asked to leave the showground. 25. Objections should be made in writing to the show secretary accompanied with £50 within 30 minutes of the class finishing. If the decision is upheld the £50 will be returned. 26. We as organisers reserve the right to amend any of these rules at any time, change the schedule or substitute judges if needed. 27. We as organisers accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, incident or accident(s) to persons, equines or property. 28. Home Produced Definition – No horse/pony to have been stabled, schooled or competed from a professional horse/pony establishment since the 1st January in current year. Horses/ponies can only be shown by an amateur who has not been involved with professionally producing animals for the show ring since the 1st January in the current year. Exhibitors must not have produced any horse/pony for financial gain since the 1st January in the current year
