    Draft Prospect: QB – Riley Ferguson Riley Ferguson, der Quarterback der Memphis Tigers, ist der erste Late-Rounder den wir euch vorstellen möchten. Von Experten wird Ferguson als 9. bester Quarterback der vergangenen Saison geranked. Doch wer ist Riley Ferguson eigentlich? Der 23 jährige Ferguson (19.01.1995) begann seine Football Karriere an der David W. Butler High School in Memphis, North Carolina. Bei den Butler Bulldogs übernahm er nach Kurzeinsätzen in seinem Freshman Jahr schon als Sophomore die Rolle des Starting Quarterbacks. Seitdem steigerten sich seine Leistungen und vor allem seine Touchdown-Ausbeute. Bereits 2011 als Junior, in seinem dritten Jahr, sorgte Riley Ferguson mit 3.345 Passing Yards und 48 Touchdowns national für Schlagzeilen. In seiner Senior Saison schaffte er es dann zu soliden 2.173 Yards und 25 Touchdowns. In seiner Zeit bei den Butler Bulldogs gewann er zwei State Titel und den QB MVP Award im Athens Nike Camp, was zu dieser Zeit für einen Underclassman undenkbar war. Schließlich wurde er aufgrund seiner herausragenden Leistungen als 4 Sterne Rekrut und 7. bester Quarterback des Landes in der 2013er Klasse geranked. All das sorgte dafür, dass er schon weit vor dem Ende seiner Highschool Zeit, einige Stipendien von großen Colleges angeboten bekam. Allen voran der LSU, Michigan, Virginia Tech und der Clemson Tide. Entschieden hat sich Riley Ferguson dann doch für Tennessee wo erTyler Bray (Kansas City Chiefs) als Starter ablösen sollte. Als er dann zum Start der College- Saison endlich zu seinem neuen Team stoßen konnte, lief es für Ferguson jedoch alles andere als gut. Bei Tennessee war er zu dieser Zeit neben Justin Worley (FA), Nathan Peterman (Buffalo Bills) und Joshua Dobbs (Pittsburgh Steelers) der 4te Quarterback im Kampf um die Rolle als Starter.
