Location The village of Trawsfynydd is positioned towards the southern end of Trawsfynydd Lake and situated right in the heart of the stunning Snowdonia National Park, surrounded by miles of open countryside, moorland, mountains and forests yet convenient for both to the north and to the south, both roughly 12 miles distant. Trawsfynydd enjoys local amenities including 2 village stores, public house, a petrol station, car repair facilities and a primary school. The Rhinog mountain range is situated to the west and the coastline at Porthmadog and are both within reach. Directions From Caernarfon, follow the A487 in the direction of Porthmadog. Bypass Porthmadog along the new stretch of road (still the A487), turning left towards Penrhyndeudraeth. Continue on this road eastward towards , whereupon the A487 becomes the A470 heading south towards Dolgellau. Stay on this road, taking the first turning right into the village of Trawsfynydd and proceed past the primary school and as you descend, you will find the development land located on your left hand side.
