Welcome to our 60th newsletter Ticknall Produce Show

Replacement fencing at the Grange The Parish Council paid for the boundary fence on the Grange to be replaced and lengthened, with a contribution towards the cost from Ticknall Cricket Club.

Replacement Gates The Parish Council paid for the gate to be replaced between Dame Catherine Harpur School and the village hall garden. The Parish Council also contributed £200.00 towards the cost of replacing the Dame Catherine Harpur School five bar gate and side gate.

Remembrance Sunday The Remembrance Sunday Service will be held on Sunday 10th November, in St. George’s Church. Everyone is welcome to come along to remember those that have fallen.

Overhanging Foliage It is that time of year again when foliage and branches from shrubs and trees overhang property boundaries. Could you make sure that any foliage and branches that are hanging over pavements from your property are cut back please. We are finding that it is difficult to pass these on the narrow pavements, making it a possibility that pedestrians step off the pavement onto the road to avoid them. This is especially important on the busy parts of Ticknall on High Street, Main Street and Ashby Road. We appreciate your Christmas Eve Carol Singing cooperation.
