Paul’s Chophouse is located at 29850 Groesbeck Hwy in Roseville. Founded by Paul and Peter Gogo in 1968, Mr. Paul's Chop- house has been serving traditional steaks and seafood for over 30 years. Paul and his brother Peter saw an opportunity for a steakhouse restaurant in the middle of Roseville, Michi- gan's automotive industrial area. Great emphasis is placed on service and USDA prime beef and fresh seafood, both of which are delivered fresh twice a day. Coupled with a long service staff, you will enjoy a unique dining experience. Lust, betrayal, murder — nothing says drama quite like Puc- cini’s Tosca, one of the most popular operas of all time. Amid an unstable 1800s Italy, fiery diva Tosca must fight to save her rebel- lious lover from an evil police chief. This all new MOT co- production with the Cincinnati Opera perfectly sets the stage for an exhilarating ride of emotional extremes. Stephen Lord – “The combination of a new production and the authentic Italian spirit Maestro Valerio Galli brings to this familiar work will create an exciting dynamic for this ‘shabby little shocker!’” Contact Enzo Paglia for information and reservations at Call Angela Beaumont at 248-703-2881 or Teria DeLorenzo 586-207-1063 at 586-262-7482 to reserve your place.

Dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Abruzzo Culture EASTER MESSAGEGE Father Enzo Addari

Alleluia!!!! It is the greeting we hear on Easter day; it resounds in very corner an- nouncing that something glorious has happened; something the each one of us has looked for in the past, is looking for now and will be looking for in the future. A revelation has been given to us; we are made for eternity! Alleluia, the LORD has risen, Alleluia. It is the Lord Jesus who has risen from the dead and has brought hope to all of us, thus marking our hu- man history, giving all of us a sense of direction, opening for us the road to join the Father in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is Easter! We have embellished this mystery with many traditions, all of them carrying out some of the truth that God has become one of us for bringing all of us into the hearth of the Father, to be loved with divine love for eternity. This reality has sustained our parents, grandparents and all the generations who had gone before us, es- pecially in time of trial, fear, persecution, insecurity, doubts, turmoil, confusion and unrest. It has hap- pened in the past and is happening now in our world marked by atheism, secularism and narcissism. We, as believers, through our profession of faith in the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead, reaffirm that we have hope and that our final dwelling is in the hearth of the Father. Let us contemplate this mystery which has been revealed to us by God in his bounty and let us show everyone that we are happy people. Alleluia!

ITALY DIVIDED: Continued from page 1 Mr Boeri said the split between the industrialized north and the deprived south has never been so stark and is likely to have profound implications for Italy and Europe for years to come. Writing for politics news site, Politico.co.uk, he said: “If the election’s winners truly want to change the country, they will have to come up with solutions that benefit and appease both northern and southern voters.

“But given the campaign promises that swept both parties into power, it is far more likely that the country stays divided.” The Mezzogiorno, or “noon” as the south is called in Italian, has lagged the rest of the country for decades, but the recent financial crisis is said to have exacerbated the problem. Its economy shrank 7.2 per cent between 2001-2016, according to latest data, while Italy’s output grew some 1 per cent over the same period and that of the European Union by 23.2 per cent. Unemployment in the south stands at almost 18 per cent versus 6.6 per cent in the north, with youth unemployment at 46.6 per cent - more than double the level at the top of the country. Mr Boeri said: “Italy’s stark regional divide has a simple explanation: Wages are too low in the north and too high in the south. “Lega voters will never agree to forego the promised tax reductions to finance transfers to people not working in the south. “Similarly, the M5S cannot give up their flagship proposal without a rebellion of their southern voters. “As a result, the country - and not just the political system - is likely to remain paralysed and divided for a long while.”

SPORT: ABRUZZO OSPITA RITIRO NAZIONALE DI SOFTBALL

(REGFLASH) Pescara, 13 mar.

CALCIO: IN ABRUZZO 57ESIMA EDIZIONE TOR- NEO REGIONALE

(REGFLASH) Pescara, 7 mar.
