Norwegian Cruise Line Corporate Overview
NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE CORPORATE OVERVIEW Norwegian Cruise Line is the innovator in cruise travel with a 44-year history of breaking the boundaries of traditional cruising, most notably with the introduction of Freestyle Cruising which has revolutionized the industry by allowing guests more freedom and flexibility. Today, Norwegian has 11 purpose-built Freestyle Cruising ships providing guests the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed cruise vacation on some of the newest and most contemporary ships at sea. In 2010, the Company reached an agreement with MEYER WERFT GMBH of Germany to build two new next generation Freestyle Cruising ships for delivery in spring 2013 and spring 2014, respectively. Each of the 143,500 gross ton vessels, the largest passenger/cruise ships to be built in Germany, will have approximately 4,000 passenger berths and a rich cabin mix. In February 2000, Norwegian was acquired by Genting Hong Kong Limited formerly Star Cruises Ltd (SES: STRC), a Hong Kong stock exchange listed company, and part of Malaysia's Genting Group. Following the acquisition of Norwegian, Star Cruises became the third largest cruise line in the world. While under 100 percent ownership by Star, the company embarked on an expansion program that involved new ships, on-board product enhancements and innovative itineraries. In August 2007, private equity group, Apollo Management, LP, agreed to make a $1 billion cash equity investment in Norwegian. Under the terms of the investment which closed on January 7, 2008, Apollo became a 50 percent owner of Norwegian and has named a majority of the company’s board with certain consent rights retained by Genting. -

CORPORATE OVERVIEW On September 2, 2014, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd announced it has agreed to acquire Prestige Cruises International, Inc., the market leader in the upscale cruise segment and parent company of Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, for $3.025 billion. The transaction is expected to close in the further quarter of 2014 and will create a diversified cruise operator with leading global cruise brands across market segments. As of January 18, 2013, Norwegian Cruise Line was officially listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange, trading under the ticker symbol “NCLH” (Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Ltd). Major shareholders include: Genting Hong Kong with 27.7 percent; Apollo Management, LLC with 19.9 percent; and Texas Pacific Group (TPG) at 7.8 percent. Founded in 1966, Norwegian Cruise Line is the innovator in cruise travel with a history of breaking the boundaries of traditional cruising, most notably with the introduction of Freestyle Cruising which revolutionized the industry by giving guests more freedom and flexibility. NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE TAKES DELIVERY OF NORWEGIAN BLISS Norwegian’s newest ship debuts in Europe before commencing her inaugural tour around the U.S. and her official christening ceremony in Seattle, Washington BREMERHAVEN, GERMANY – April 19, 2018 – Today, Norwegian Cruise Line took delivery of the 167,800- gross-ton Norwegian Bliss, from MEYER WERFT during a ceremony in Bremerhaven, Germany, marking the conclusion of an 18-month building period. In attendance were executives from Norwegian Cruise Line, including Andy Stuart, president and chief executive officer, and Robin Lindsay, executive vice president of vessel operations, representatives from MEYER WERFT including Bernard and TimMeyer, managing partners of the German-based shipyard, the ship’s captain, hotel director and Vitalijs Smorodinovs of the Bahamas Maritime Authority, where Norwegian Bliss will be flagged. Later today, the ship will cruise to Southampton, England where she will begin her transatlantic journey on April 21. Norwegian Bliss will arrive to her first homeport at Pier 66 in Seattle, Washington on May 30, where the official christening ceremony will take place. (the “Company”) (NYSE: NCLH), a leading global cruise company which operates the Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands, today announced additional voyages as part of its U.S. voyage resumption plan. Norwegian Cruise Line plans to set sail beginning summer 2021 with voyages from New York, Los Angeles, Port Canaveral and Miami and the line announced that its newest innovative ship, Norwegian Encore will debut in Alaska this summer in place of Norwegian Bliss.
