Recombinant Human Trypsin Inhibitor AGV212 (Kunitz domain 1 from TFPI-2) with His Tag

Catalog No. CSI19600 Quantity: 50 µg

Alternate Names: Tissue factor pathway inhibitor 2

Description: AGV212 is a inhibitor generated from the first Kunitz domain of the human tissue factor inhibitor 2 (TFPI-2) protein, after site-directed mutagenesis to increase its activity. It consists of 79 amino acids (including 6 His located in the amino

term, for tagging purposes) and has a molecular formula of C407H592N116O117S6. It is arranged in a single polypeptide chain that is linked by three bridges. AGV212 is quite stable (see Table 1) and inhibits Plasmin with high efficiency (see Figure 2) and Ki lower than TFPI-2 one. TFPI-2 has been shown to inhibit ECM essential for angiogenesis and metastasis.

Lane 3 shows a heavier inhibition of trypsin, resulting in a release of D-Ile-Phe- form of AGV212 due to glycosilation. Lys-p-nitroamilide in TBS and 0.1% BSA.
