The Directorate of Open and Distance Learning (DODL), University of Kalyani invites applications for admission to the following 2 year semester wise Post Graduate courses under the distance mode for the academic session 2019-2020.

1. A candidate with M.A subject is eligible to get admission in M.A in any other subject (other than M.A in Education) offered through Distance Education Mode irrespective of whether or not that subject was offered at the degree stage. But the candidates with M.A in any professional subject like Music, Drama, Film Studies and other subjects viz, Physical Education (M.P.Ed) and General Education (M.Ed.) etc. will not be eligible to avail of the provision. 2. In case of M.A in Education, Graduates or Post Graduates with B.Ed. or equivalent degrees are also eligible besides those who meet the above mentioned eligibility conditions.

 For M.A. courses, students can be admitted in the University of Kalyani Main Campus (Head Quarter) along with approved 25 Study Centers.  For M.Sc Courses, students can be admitted only in the University of Kalyani Main Campus (Head Quarter).

Admission Process:

1) Applicants are advised to visit DODL website http:// dodl.klyuniv.ac.in/ for downloading Application and Enrolment forms and payment of course fee on and from 15th June, 2019 to 16th August,2019.

2) For downloading Application and Enrolment forms, click “DODL: M.A/M.Sc. Semester Admission, 2019-20”

 Application Form (consisting of 2 pages)  Enrolment (consisting of 1 page) 3) Payment of Course fees: Online through “SBI Collect” (Steps are available at the DODL website: http:// dodl.klyuniv.ac.in from 15th June, 2019).

4) After successful online payment of Course Fee, duly filled in Application Form and Enrolment Form accompanied by 02 (two) Passport size color photograph of the applicant, 03 (three) photocopies of e-receipt of payment of SBI Collect and other testimonials as mentioned in the Application Form are to be submitted to the DODL office or relevant approved study centers where he/she is being admitted. 5) Students are required to preserve Bank payment confirmation e-receipt carefully for future reference. Important Information: 1) All admissions are provisional subject to eligibility and verification of the required documents. If any discrepancy is revealed later, responsibility will rest on the applicant and his/her admission will be cancelled. It is obligatory on the part of candidates to satisfy themselves as regard their eligibility for a particular course before taking admission in a course. It should be carefully noted that fees of any kind once deposited will not be refunded. 2) There is no age bar in admission into the different courses of the DODL i.e., admission is open to any person of any age within eligibility criteria. 3) There is no cut-off year for any course admission. 4) Two Degree Programmes cannot be allowed to be pursued simultaneously. 5) An Enrolment Number will be assigned to each student on admission after proper scrutiny of filled-in-admission form. 6) If a student comes from other University/Institution for admission into DODL Course, he/she shall be required to submit Migration Certificate from the institution last attended. 7) Change of course and/or subject and/or Study Centre is not permissible after admission.

Admission and Payment of Admission Fees: Steps

Steps for Admission to M.A/ M.Sc First Semester courses, 2019-2020 academic sessions 1. Application for admission into different subjects of M.A. and M.Sc. First Semester under distance mode starts from 15th June, 2019 at 10.00 AM and closes on August 16, 2019 at 4.00 PM. 2. Applicants are advised to visit the DODL website http://dodl.klyuniv.ac.in/ for downloading application and other forms and payment of course fees. 3. For downloading Application and Enrolment forms, click „DODL: M.A./M.Sc Semester Admission, 2019-2020‟ and then click the following buttons:  Application Form consisting 2 pages  Enrolment Form consisting 1 page 4. After payment of Course Fee (Steps furnished below), duly filled in Application Form and Enrolment Form accompanied by 02 (two) Passport size color photograph of the applicant, 03 (three) photocopies of e-payment receipt of SBI Collect and other testimonials as mentioned in the Application Form are to be submitted to the DODL office or relevant approved study centers.

Payment of Course Fees: Steps

1. Applicants should visit the https://www.onlinesbi.com Link for payment 2. Applicants should select “SB Collect” from the menu. 3. On the “SBI Bank Collect” page, the applicant should check at the end of the Disclaimer Clause to proceed for payment ( I have read and accepted the terms and conditions stated above). 4. In the next page, the applicant should select “State of Corporate Institution‟ (West Bengal) and „Type of Corporate/Institution‟ (Educational Institutions) from the drop down menu and click GO. 5. Next the Applicants should select from Educational Institutions Name „DODL University of Kalyani A/C SB Collect‟ from the drop down Menu and click Submit. 6. In the next page, the applicant should Select Payment Category „Admission for M.A./ M.Sc First Semester (DODL)‟ 7. In the next page the Applicant is required to fill up the payment details in prescribed proforma and click Submit. 8. After confirmation of the payment details, the Applicant can make payment through Net Banking /Card Payment/Other Payment modes. 9. In the other payment mode, the applicant can download and print the Pre-Acknowledgement payment challan and make the payment through any SBI Branch. 10. Please note that the Bank Charges for each payment mode is different. 11. After successful submission of the payment of course fees, „State Bank Collect Reference Number‟ will be generated online. 12. After submitting course fees through other payment mode (as mentioned in serial number 9), students are required to visit the https://www.onlinesbi.com Link for generation of e-Payment Receipt for State Bank Collect Payment from Payment History. 13. Students are required to enclose two photocopies of E- Payment Receipt for State Bank Collect Payment with the Application Form for admission. 14. Each applicant is required to write the „State Bank Collect Reference Number‟ in the relevant column of the Application Form for admission. 15. No application for admission will be accepted without the payment of admission fees before 4.00 PM (Bank Counter by Cash) and 11.45 PM (online mode) on 16.08.2019.
