Many of those were among the 71 Panthers who first reported to Georgia State last Aug. 11. His top seasons in the CFL were 2004 and 2005 with more than 50 receptions each year. He ranks among the Roughriders’ career Top 20 in receptions (231) and receiving yards (3,0220). A native of Montreal, Canada, French was selected by Saskatch- ewan in the second round of the 2001 CFL draft out of Murray State University, where he played two seasons. He also played two
