After falling behind 6-0 in the third inning, 6 Home (6 Total) MEM 14 15 2 the ‘Birds battled back with five runs in the bottom of the third. After an RBI 8/24 H – W, 8-4 single from Kramer Robertson, Juan Yepez blasted a grand slam to bring 8/25 H – L, 3-2 Memphis within a run. In the next frame, Brendan Donovan tied the game 8/26 H – L, 12-3 with a solo home run, Robertson gave the Redbirds the lead with another RBI WP: Tommy Parsons (2-6) single and Nolan Gorman added to the lead with his 10th home run of the 8/27 H – W, 4-2 -1.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K season. In the seventh, Alec Burleson drove in a run to extend the lead to 9- 8/28 H – W, 14-12 6. Columbus scored twice in the eighth to bring it back to a 9-8 ballgame, but 8/29 H – the ‘Birds broke out for five more runs in the home half of the inning.
