About 70% of people turning age 65 will need long-term care at some point in their lives, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. 2 Counting on Medicare to cover it. Medicare generally does not cover long-term custodial care services, such as assistance with bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily life, if that is the only type of care you need. Medicaid covers them, but your income must be low and your assets limited to qualify for Medicaid. If you need long- term custodial care, your only options may be to pay for it from your personal income and savings, or a combination of long-term care insurance, income, and savings. 3 Waiting too long to purchase long-term care insurance. If long-term care insurance is right for you, it is generally a good idea to purchase it well before you need it. If you wait until your health deteriorates, insurance companies may not sell you a policy. Plus, your premiums will generally be lower the younger you are when you purchase the policy. Please consult your financial advisor about how to plan for long-term care expenses. ©iStock.com/PeopleImages © iStock.com/FredFroese inside UP FRONT FEATURES FYI 2 Three Mistakes to Avoid Regarding 6 Building Retirement Savings 16 Hong Kong, China: City of Lights Long-Term Care at Any Age 18 Two Reasons to Celebrate on the National Mall What to do in your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 3 Three Reasons to Start a Retirement 60s to prepare for retirement. 19 Quiz: Test Your College Smarts Plan for Your Business 12 Charitable Giving with a 4 What Is a Bond or CD Ladder? Please consult your financial advisor for specific insurance advice. HOW DOES A LADDER TYPICALLY WORK? Let’s say you have $300,000 to invest in individual bonds. To build a bond ladder, © iStock.com/Johnny Greig you might invest $100,000 in bonds that mature in one year, $100,000 in bonds that mature in two years, and $100,000 in bonds that mature in three years. When the first group of bonds matures (group A in the illustration below), the proceeds are typically reinvested in bonds with the longest maturity, which in this example is three years. By following this pattern of reinvestment, a portion of your bonds will mature every year for as long as you continue to use the laddering strategy. Laddering can help you take advantage of rising interest rates by providing you with access to a portion of your principal at regular intervals so that you have the opportunity to reinvest it in bonds or CDs paying higher rates. If interest rates decline, laddering can also help you manage reinvestment risk—the risk that comparable investments will be paying interest at a lower rate when your current investments mature. For example, if all of your bonds mature at the same time and rates decline, you’ll be faced with either accepting less in- come if you reinvest in comparable investments or shooting for equal or higher income by choosing riskier investments. If your investments mature at different times, however, those investments that are not currently maturing will continue to generate income at the same rate as before so that your overall income may not decrease as much. n PLEASE NOTE: When interest rates rise, bond prices generally fall, and vice versa. The effect is usually more pronounced for Please consult your longer-term securities.

  • Fleetwood Hawke We Come Running Free Mp3 Download
fleetwood hawke we come running free mp3 download 16 essential Fleetwood Mac songs from their early years (1967-1974) This past weekend, we sadly had to say goodbye to original Fleetwood Mac leader Peter Green . He formed the band in 1967 with drummer Mick Fleetwood and soon recruited bassist John McVie, both of whom would take the band to stardom in the late '70s. All three of those musicians had previously played in the influential UK blues rock group John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers (which at various points also included future Cream members Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce and future Rolling Stones member Mick Taylor), and Peter Green played a crucial role in beginning Fleetwood Mac as a blues rock band before taking them in a more psychedelic direction. He's not just one of the greatest blues rock guitarists of all time, he's also an innovative singer/songwriter, and his contributions to Fleetwood Mac still influence new listeners today. Green joins early Fleetwood Mac members Danny Kirwan, Bob Brunning, Bob Welch, and Bob Weston in rock heaven, and the sad news of his death follows the announcements of two Peter Green tribute projects: a live album of Mick Fleetwood's all-star Peter Green tribute concert from earlier this year (with members of Metallica, Pink Floyd, The Who, Oasis, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, and more) and a yet-to-be- officially announced music/book project that also includes members of Metallica and Pink Floyd, as well as several others TBA. Green's death also follows the 2019 release of Before The Beginning 1968-1970: Rare Live & Demo Sessions (which features newly-unearthed Peter Green-era Fleetwood Mac recordings) and the very recent announcement of the upcoming Fleetwood Mac 1969-1974 box set documenting the years leading up to the Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood lineup that turned the band into megastars.

It is a work of realist fiction that tells the story of an aspiring rock & roll artist, exploring the nature of ambition and how it affects (and is affected by) personal relationships. It also seeks to depict the world as it exists on the fringes of fame and success through the eyes of several different characters whose talents and ambitions have led them to take up residence there.

  • FAQS for SAN FRANCISCO HEALTH ORDERS Updated 12/8
FAQS FOR SAN FRANCISCO HEALTH ORDERS Updated 12/8/2020 San Francisco is currently in the state’s purple (most restrictive) tier, with case rates and hospitalizations rising rapidly. The current surge exceeds the one San Francisco experienced over the summer. To address the surge, save lives, and better protect our frontline healthcare workers, San Francisco along with several other Bay Area counties, has significantly restricted businesses and permissible activities by implementing temporary interventions called for under the State’s regional stay at home order. San Francisco and the other counties determined that they had to act before the State’s trigger mandating its regional stay at home order, to avoid acting too late and exceeding the ICU bed capacity in local hospitals. Please check back frequently for up-to-date information. Overview: Over eight months after San Francisco was one of the first jurisdictions in the country to take the pro-active step of implementing a shelter-in-place order to help protect public health, we remain at a critical point in managing the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. Even though San Francisco was able to resume its reopening process in September, we likely have months to go before we resume normal business and other activities safely. To continue reopening schools and to reopen businesses, all of us must do our part by continuing to stay home as much as we can, avoiding all social gatherings with people who are not part of our household, and strictly complying with social distancing and face covering requirements. If we fail to adhere to these precautions, virus transmission rates will increase, the disease will affect more people, our hospital beds will fill up, and our hospital care resources could become overwhelmed.

  • Faqs) Were Last Updated on March 29, 2021 and Are No Longer Being Updated
These Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) were last updated on March 29, 2021 and are no longer being updated. A summary of what is open and closed in San Francisco under the COVID-19 health orders and directives is contained in the current reopening chart, which can be found here. Please refer to the existing Health Orders and Directives for further guidance. FAQS FOR SAN FRANCISCO HEALTH ORDERS Updated 3/29/2021 Overview: On March 23, 2021, the State reassigned San Francisco from the red tier (tier 2) under the State’s Blueprint to the orange tier (tier 3) based on declining COVID-19 case and hospitalization rates. The State Blueprint sets the baseline for the types of businesses and other activities that counties can open and the required safety modifications for those activities. But counties can be more restrictive. San Francisco has proceeded more carefully than the State framework provides, to help ensure a safer and more sustainable reopening based on local health conditions. San Francisco revised its order to allow most businesses and activities that the State authorizes under its Blueprint framework in the orange tier to resume beginning March 24, subject to State and additional local safety protocols. The reopening includes the opening and expansion of a number of indoor and outdoor businesses and recreation activities and the opening of some additional indoor sectors, including indoor family entertain centers, like bowling and mini golf, on a limited basis. San Francisco’s reopening nearly aligns with what the State allows under the orange tier, with some exceptions, such as additional limits on indoor dining.
