Gambling Regulation Act 2003 Section 4.5.10 Notice is hereby given that the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation makes the following variations to approved betting events, in accordance with section 4.5.11(1)(a) of the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (the Act), with effect from the date of publication of this notice. In relation to approvals under sections 4.5.6(1)(a) and 4.5.6(1)(b) and determinations under section 4.5.9(a) of the Act, the Commission varies (wherever appearing): American : Matches controlled and regulated by national or international authorities, to: events administered by a national or international authority. Athletics: Meetings controlled and regulated by national or international authorities, to: Athletics events administered by a national or international authority. Australian Football: Games that form part of the Australian Football League and Victorian Football League competitions including the State of Origin series and the Vote Count, to: Australian football events administered by the Australian Football League or the Victorian Football League. Badminton: Controlled and regulated by Badminton and/or Badminton World Federation except for those competitions restricted to age groups less than 18 years of age, and when those events are contested in the following tournaments: Badminton World Championships Badminton Super Series The Uber Cup The Sudirman Cup The Badminton Grand Prix Li Ning, Clendinnen Shield Australian Closed Championships, to: Badminton events administered by a national or international authority. : Matches controlled and regulated by national or international authorities, to: Baseball events administered by a national or international authority. : Matches controlled and regulated by national or international authorities, to: Basketball events administered by a national or international authority. Boxing: Contests controlled and regulated by national or international authorities (subject to the condition that separate individual approval of boxing contests taking place in the Commonwealth of Australia be sought except if the contest is an officially sanctioned national and international boxing title fight), to: Boxing events administered by a national or international authority (subject to the condition that separate individual approval of boxing contests taking place in the Commonwealth of Australia be sought except if the contest is an officially sanctioned national or international boxing title fight). : Matches controlled and regulated by national or international authorities, to: Cricket events administered by a national or international authority.
