[email protected] Minster’s Jewelers, one of Newark’s old- SPORTS est businesses, will close its doors for the last time on Saturday after 123 years. The closure, announced Tuesday, comes seven months after owner Marilyn Minster died at age 87. The Minster family debated what to do with the store and decided last week to close it, Marilyn’s son, Will Minster, said. “There’s really not a next generation to take over and continue it,” Will said.
