Its scope is extensive and features a broad range of projects and initiatives, it helps us understand more about what our audiences want from us and each of the varied projects demonstrates us meeting at least one of our Public Purposes. This could be better understanding how to make news and current affairs interesting to young people, how to engage better with communities around the UK, how to champion emerging British talent or deliver on our ambition to inspire a life full of learning for all our audiences. Many initiatives bring together different departments from across the BBC, encourage collaborative working, help us make the most of our skills and increase the impact of our work.
