What role do you think technology can play in the future of contract-making? How is that relevant for lawyers? How will the LTIC help us understand this better and get more experience? A large component of the legal profession involves the drafting, designing, and strategising over contracts. It is now impossible to draft a contract without the use of technology and say that you've done your due diligence as a lawyer. In the real world, away from theory, we rely on technologies such as Natural Language Processing, Complex Machine Learning, and Data Analytics to perform discovery & gather information, and then to draft our contracts. The LTIC's Contract Innovation module will be run by the World Commerce & Contracting Association, a collection of the most experienced Legal Contract Designers, covering Contract Design, Legal Design, Contract Innovation, and more.

We want to support and develop both current and future lawyers. If you are a legal professional looking to become adept in legal technology, we would encourage you to take the course.

What are the biggest hurdles in digital transformation for a traditional practice or firm? Will the LTIC cover this? Learning how to do it, and actually adopting the technology into your day to day workflow. Traditional practices or lawyers don't adapt quick enough in this day and age. If you're looking to change that for your firm, the LTIC's Digital Transformation, Legal Operations, and Law Tech Strategy modules will help you map out the best way to digitally transform your firm or department.

We do however have a project management module which cover LPM in depth and focus on the importance of effective change management and governance when deploying technology.

Will this course deliver enough knowledge to go into a small start-up? Absolutely. You will see various technologies and can apply your use cases to these. There will be an ideation to delivery roadmap discussed as well as the commercial awareness focus to help not only corporate and private practice lawyers but also aspiring founders

What's the deadline for signing up for the programme and when will it launch? The deadline will be 22nd of January 2021
