A great source of pride for us was our 2016 Annual Mental Health Week Speaker Series featuring Margaret Trudeau who spoke to a packed room about her lived experience with bipolar disorder. It was an evening when our community came together to be inspired by Ms. Trudeau’s courage, and we were honoured to have her with us to share her recovery journey. As the CMHA Ride Don’t Hide movement continues to sweep across the country, the local momentum for this national bike ride for mental health inspires us.
