Message from the Chair and the CEO
2016-2017 has been a remarkable year for us at the Canadian the previous year as more and more riders hit the road to Mental Health Association Halton Region Branch, one to be raise awareness and funds. A great source of pride for us was our 2016 Annual Mental Health Week Speaker Series featuring Margaret Trudeau who spoke to a packed room about her lived experience with bipolar disorder. It was an evening when our community came together to be inspired by Ms. Trudeau’s courage, and we were honoured to have her with us to share her recovery journey.
As the CMHA Ride Don’t Hide movement continues to sweep across the country, the local momentum for this national bike ride for mental health inspires us.
