Suggested CSR activities Anganwadi – construction of toilets, repair/renovation, supplies (rubber mats, plastic chairs/tables, blackboards, weighing scales, soap, nail cutter, etc), tiling of floor, material for pre- school education & therapeutic food for SAM children). Health – renovation of health sub-centre; solar panels & lamps, monthly health check-ups in hard to reach areas/PTG villages; procurement of equipment (radiant warmers, oxygen concentrators, etc) for SCNU; insecticide treated mosquito nets for households in malaria affected/hard to reach/PTG villages; ensure 100% immunization, birth registration, institutional deliver, etc through village volunteers; weekly ASHA radio programme on health & nutrition. Suggested CSR activities Education – repair/maintenance of KGBV, welfare schools, observation homes; supplies to these schools (beds, blankets, bed sheets, mosquito nets, furniture, utensils, library, computer labs, science labs, medical check-ups, etc; scholarships for meritorious students for higher studies; Reading programme for students of class 3- 5 in 150 schools in a block;residential bridge programme of 11 months for out-of-school girls in most marginalized communities like MSK per annum; tutorial support for students in hard-to- reach/tribal areas through village volunteers; meena radio for life skills development covering 15 lakh children in 13,000 upper primary schools; centralized kitchen for mid-day meal like ISKCON in East Singhbhum & Seraikela district. Drinking water & sanitation – make village open defecation free (leveraging funds under NBA); set up community pipe water scheme with one water supply point in each house including maintenance for 3 years per village; water purification plant per gram sabha & community toilet with maintenance at key locations. Suggested CSR activities Planning & Development – SMS based monitoring system to monitor services like PDS, NREGA, ICDS, PHC, etc with mukhiya like SMS based monitoring of MDM in Dhanbad; Solar lamps for community meeting place, electrification by solar energy per village; upgradation of connected roads in village. Art, culture & sports – repair/maintenance of residential & day boarding schools (28 residential & 104 day boarding schools) like minor repairs, white washing, toilets, playgrounds, per school; supplies like bed, blankets, bed sheets, mosquito nets, furniture, utensils, library, science labs, indoor games, nutrition/diet, fitness centre, medical check-ups, etc per school; sponsorship for sports persons (5 per school) for state/national level sporting events (nutrition/diet, uniform, shoes, kit, travel & stay) annually; repair/renovation/conservation of places of cultural significance – infrastructure, boundary wall, approach road, lighting, landscaping, beautification, drinking water facility, etc. Suggested CSR activities Industry & Skill development – skill development programme for youth for 3 months like the PAN IITian (Gumla & other dists); skill dev for rural artisans and linking them with Jharkraft. Others – women empowerment (literacy/legal education, etc) like Jagjagi Kendras of Mahila Samakhya per village; plantation of 100 trees per village and maintenance for 3 years per village per annum; rejuvenation and restoration of large water bodies; running of ITI; etc THANK YOU!
