DOUBLE-MINI TRAMPOLINE GYMNAST MATTHEW SWAFFER WELCOME 2014 TRAMPOLINE, TUMBLING & DMT BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS

WELCOME TO ECHO ARENA HOME OF THE 2014 TRAMPOLINE TUMBLING & WELCOME DMT BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS MESSAGE n behalf of British Gymnastics I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our guests and especially to those gymnasts who have successfully made it through to this year’s British Championships following intense competition. O For the gymnasts in the disciplines of these championships, which include trampoline, disability trampoline, tumbling and DMT (double-mini trampoline), this weekend sees the culmination of their work over the last year; a period during which they have battled through tough high-standard qualification events to claim their right to compete at this level.

Throughout the championships you will see a feast of high quality non-stop gymnastics across the disciplines with plenty to amaze and entertain everyone. None of it would be possible without the dedication and hard work of the organisers and those working behind the scenes to create the success that these championships will no doubt become.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank UK Sport for supporting our World Class Programme and Sport England for aiding our grassroots development. We would also like to thank our sponsor Milano and our preferred suppliers Gymaid, Continental, IHG and Alto Digital.

In a few weeks’ time, our leading gymnasts will be aiming to repeat their success when they represent Great Britain and take on the rest of the world at the World Championships in Daytona Beach, USA and I’m sure you will all join me in wishing them the best.

BRYONY To all of our gymnasts, coaches and clubs, congratulations on making it to the PAGE prestigious British Championships, good luck and above all enjoy the competition. ALAN SOMMERVILLE PRESIDENT, BRITISH GYMNASTICS
