Kathy Shayna Shocket has the inside scoop on the Valley's priciest homes sold and for sale.

Four celebrities' homes are among the Valley's priciest multi-million dollar home sales.

As the Phoenix area’s high-end real estate market continues its slow recovery, many analysts are predicting that 2012 will likely be better than 2011. Several celebrities in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale are among those who were involved in $2 and $3 million dollar real estate deals.

Scott Williams scored many points on the basketball court when he played for teams such as the Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks. But Williams, who retired as a player in 2005, recently teamed up with his realtors to sell his sprawling Paradise Valley home.(The celebrity athlete was also a pre and post game commentator who was known for his frequent and interesting emails to ESPN personality, Tony Kornheiser.)

Williams’ 6,600 sq. foot home off Mockingbird Lane in Mockingbird Vistas which sold for about $2.6 million boasts five bedrooms, a media room, guest casita and play yard. (CONTINUE to NEXT page)

Daymond Langkow and his wife, Stephanie bought this enchanting family retreat in Scottsdale for about $3 million. Langkow is a Canadian hockey player who played for the and is currently a center for the Phoenix Coyotes. The 8,300 sq. foot resort-style home with five bedrooms and an entry way with a grand staircase is located at Mirage Crossing in North Scottsdale. (CONTINUE to NEXT page)

Ed Jovanovski is a hockey player for the . He is well-known in Phoenix, as he played for the Phoenix Coyotes for five years. Jovanovski and his wife, Kirstin sold their almost 6,700 sq. foot home for $2.8 million. Another former Phoenix Coyotes player, Oleg Saprykin, who played in Phoenix in 2004 and was then traded in 2007 to the , paid $2.1 million for his 4,000 sq. foot new home at the Landmark in Kierland.
